I know FBB was one but I’m not sure if Zhao Wei was. I think FBB was the last real generation too. Zhao Wei is a good actress though I like Zhou Xun more. I hope one day Xiao Ran can reach their levels. It feels like with her, she’s capable of development but hasn’t had enough roles or worked with enough good teams to learn. The requirements aren’t high enough, it’s just her own professionalism that drives the roles. Haha I was actually really glad when she worked with Jackie Chan because her physicality is a weakness so I hope working someone who is a master of it, that she gained some skills (Though I think she did. Her posing and body language have gotten better in the last few months).

Haha yeah . I think SJFY messed up by not giving her some older makeup. I didn’t mind cause I knew the real ages of the cast but it got scolded so much because a lot of ppl thought she was in her early 20s or so.

Haha she does. Her pictures today were AMAZING. When ToDoI was shooting an extra completely missed her because she looked so young and unassuming apparently. One of the reasons I liked Yezi’s plumpness is that it looks like baby fat so she’s got a kinda stubborn childless to her in the beginning.

Yes, Drexel is supppper expensive. Dunno how anyone affords it tbh. Maybe a friend gave it to her. She has a lot of close friendships and will use the things she likes for years.

I believe Qiong Yao is an authoress if I’ve understood correctly. Her books have turned into dramas and I think she may have produced some too. Apparently legend has it, the actresses in her dramas had to be able to cry beautifully.

The love triangle was one-sided. It was more a triangle between Yezi, A’Rui’ and Yu Xiuming . YWY was more of a triangle of do I betray YXM or not. The show lost a lot of its tension because of this cut too.
If what I read is correct, her powers are used to save YXM. Outside of that she has her premonitions but some of those scenes were cut too.
Tbh most 95 flowers don’t have acting skills. Neither does 85. It’s mostly the 90s and and 80s and older.

Definitely. What kills me is people say she’s even more beautiful in real life, that photos don’t capture her well. And in Challenger League Xiao Ran is really invincible in looks. FBB made sure her makeup was on point. There are no dead ends no matter the angle or hairstyle and the makeup is quite simple too so no one can say she relied on it. I don’t get how anyone can say she’s ugly… her only problem is in Xie Ze’s lens and I suspect he purposefully shoots her that way because everyone else gets an okay shot, even passerby. I mean look at the Yu Zheng makeup test shot and she’s so gorgeous is those photos even with such a hairstyle and makeup. And in ToDoI, there is the 360 degree jumping angle-there’s no dead ends there. When she’s chubby she still looks good too. Directors might have choose angles more carefully but she’s still beautiful.

SJFY was supposed to be badass. They cut most of the scenes of Bai Lu plotting to kill Yu Xiuming 😭 I’m still so angry about it everytime I watch clips. I think Bai Lu is so beautiful, she’s my favourite heroine. She holds all those different looks so well. I think there was supposed to be some sword fighting… probably not a lot and not very good but they cut it. I really loved the showdown scene. I thought Xiao Ran was so gorgeous in her armor and then while recovering . I really don’t understand why fans weren’t going crazy over such a beautiful look. They actually seemed annoyed which was wild. I get that the lady dresses were pretty but Xiao Ran looked as beautiful as a video game character. 😭😭Drinking the medicine has a shot that really doesn’t lose to vaudeville starlets.
There was the rumor that he was going to shoot that assassin drama PXR was rumored to star in but that’s passed to a 95flower.

I was surprised to see the Drexel hat!!! It’s not as big name as Temple or PennState. It’s so random but the school does have a good color scheme lol.

Yeah Ma Su is really a tragedy. Working with good actors grows skills in younger actors. I always feel that the reason Xiao Ran cries so beautiful is that she was brought up by Qiong Yao girls 🤣But I am glad Xiao Ran worked with artists like Ma Su though. She seemed to really look out for her in Challenger League so I’ll always have a good impression of her.

Yes, I agree. She’s got old school looks has always been my thought which is why the newer makeup doesn’t always suit her now when her looks in the past were pretty much all perfect.
I think her acting ability comes working closely with Ma Su in her early years. Ma Su was an awarding actress. She has also worked with Siqin Gaowa as well as took acting classes. I think that’s why Xiao Feng was so natural.
Haha her English is super cute. I noticed she used more in her last video and I wonder if it’s because she knows she has foreign fans. I think she studied abroad in a Nordic country when sage was in uni.
