You’re welcome. I know a lot of PXR fans were following the show for her so I thought I’d make a post. If she has more scenes or if there’s an official version, I’ll post them too. I still can’t believe Bai Luo is so cute tho😂 when they released the stills just after filming finished , fans were so angry because they looked so bad. Now it’s just a question of if it’s a dub because if Xiao Ran can dub sweet costume characters herself, she shouldn’t have to suffer bad VAs anymore.

Oh I remember this! I didn’t watch though. The costumes look nice from the cover tho.

Apparently they spent all the money on everything but the costumes 😂 But the other thing with that show is it has to be watched on TV. I’m watching it on Amazon Prime on my TV now and I can see how it was S quality.

I think people just say it to attack her. Her studio isn’t good at taking photos and her shows always have weird filters but whenever passerby take her photo, she looks really good. Her vlog while she was shooting The Legend was gorgeous but she didn’t have much make up on at all.
I think Cdrama makeup artists are pretty terrible too. I’ve never seen such consistently bad makeup until started watching them. I don’t even understand how some of them have jobs.

I feel like Xiao Ran suits this old school style of makeup but it’s so rare now. The last time I saw something similar was Song Zuer’s Xiao Qiao in Bending the Waist. If only this show had aired…the whole look is really invincible.

FBB’s taste is really impeccable, whether people like or not, it can’t be said it doesn’t look good. And the cast for this show was full of gorgeous people, the type of gorgeous you don’t even see anymore. I always want to cry when I think of this drama not airing. It really was one of the last shouts of a bygone era. GBMP seems like it really is one of the last examples of it too. Whenever PXR gets accused of not being as good looking as Xiao Feng, I always want to ask is makeup of that level still done in Cdrama? Because it’s definitely not. Nowadays, the artists can’t even do the basics, which is makeup that suits the face. It’s either barely existent or bell and whistles to the point of garishness. Every time I look at older dramas I really want to sigh at the times😩.

I don’t see any xianxia tag but this show was probably recommended because the FML from this show did a drama with the ML from that show some years ago.
