🤝 I’ve always thought she was brave for trying new roles too. I think the guest roles were definitely a good idea because she could try roles she’d never get to try as the protagonist and now the audience can see her range.

Yeah, I’ve never understood why she’s judged so harshly when it’s obvious that she’s had successes that some others can’t touch. And it’s not marketed successes either but success based on pure data. Besides roles like Xiao Feng and dramas like Goodbye My Princess don’t exist anymore so how can she play what’s not even available?

She’s finally playing the role of a beautiful woman. It’s a completely different flavour from her other roles. I can’t wait. 🥹

Yeah, both leads do but SMY’s relationship is very much a subplot. And it should take a back seat to the core of the story which is assassins, power struggles, and politics.

I agree. I think she’s doing well. A lot of people forget she hasn’t filmed many dramas. For what she has filmed though she’s done well. She has Xiao Feng of course but Jun Jiu Ling has also done well too when it aired on TV. It even has an 8+ score on MDL. I used to see it on Amazon’s on-demand list a few times. And Huamei still has a CCTV 8 CVB score that not many others in her age group have beaten.

No one is really sure because MYM doesn’t have as many scenes in the book or anime but the drama could be different. It will be hard to know until the show airs.

It’s because it’s basically just the same footage over and over again for all the group portraits. The personal highlights of each character is good and the intro to the 3 families was good but this kind of thing needs more variety. At least drop a MV or real BTS, where we can see the cast interacting.

I thought BHH was basically the last of the personal highlights according to the theory I saw posted.
