I’ve always assumed Avenue X has watched so much /been in the industry so long that now her picks are more about what she finds interesting personally rather than anything else, and judging from her picks in the past, FoF doesn’t seem like a show she would like. She is good for gaining more understanding of Chinese history, culture, costuming and entertainment but her reviews often don’t take into account how stories can work from a universal standpoint, nor different audience perspectives.
