Title Fangs of Fortune Spoiler
Not many. I read a rumor that she’s in the first unit , for around 2-3 episodes. Dunno if it’s true though.
She shot for what felt like a while but it’s a unit drama so I didn’t expect to see her for too many episodes. Good thing there’s Phoenix Stage to look forward to.

They are in his upcoming drama Chang Le Qu too. But she will be support in that one.
It’s a cameo. Not support. She’s paired with Li Xinze.

I wonder how many scenes Peng Xiaoran will have in this drama? I know it is probably not much, but she is my favorite…

Lmao. Can’t believe there’s people on Weibo criticising a performance with such obvious emotion, especially…
Seems like it was an anti-fan. That or someone who doesn’t understand more natural acting. They complained that the reaction wasn’t big enough but as another commenter said:
“There is anxiety, anger and confusion, but at the same time her little brain is still working quickly to think of a solution, and she still maintains the demeanour of a queen.”
One of the reasons I like watching Xiao Ran is that she is a very smart actress. She understands emotions need build up and transition but also understands that her emotional portrayal must fit within the rules of the character’s identity and personality. If this is the early to mid stage of the conflict, a queen should still be in control of their demeanour and actions even if they’re very upset.

This is the only historical drama that I've seen with the ugliest concubines đŸ€Ł Especially the Consort Zhao…
Xia Qian (Zhou Sese) is talented and beautiful. All the actresses in this drama are talented beauties. It’s one of the major successes of the show that the cast is good looking and good at acting. Especially when for a lot of them, Xia Qian included, they were newcomers. The casting is so well done that I don’t think any of the main cast could be replaced- the feeling wouldn’t be the same.

Are you sure it's Phoenix Stage? As far as I know, there's been no controversy about this drama. RJL has one drama…
Early on there were rumors shooting stopped but they were never substantiated and the break coincided with the national holidays anyway. Since then, there hasn’t been any like that walking around. Fingers crossed this show can air safely though just in case.
And if you like Peng, I’d give Unshakable Faith a try. It’s not a costume drama and some might not like the political elements but Pang Hongmei is really cool and completely different from her previous characters. She’s a gun toting, prickly and capable little spitfire and I really like the character so much.

I just checked it out and it seems like an English language version of a marketing account and has even admitted they report on melons with a 50% chance of being true. That’s a lot of swing room. Anyway, I looked for something recent and saw nothing so I wonder if it was the earlier rumors surrounding the show when it seemed that an a lot of elements were trying to discredit it.

Someone on Facebook who likes to report the latest dramas said her phoenix drama. might never aired due to drama.…
Are you sure it wasn’t referring to other dramas? Can you provide a link? Both leads have older dramas that can’t air but I haven’t seen any rumors like this related to this specific drama. Usually this type of rumor would be spreading like wildfire, true or untrue. Especially with this show. All types of rumors have been floating around it since it booted up. Rumors about replacing cast members. Rumors about the script. Rumors about the leads. All I can say is fans just have to wait and see but companies don’t produce dramas for fun. They want to make money, especially with a S or more level drama, and now companies are becoming more and more cautious about doing things that would hurt the show’s ability to earn money. With this in mind, I doubt they would start up a drama that couldn’t air.

What's her character? Any one know
Yes, it’s really good that this drama has a lot of beauties, and they all have their own charms and talents. Let 100 flowers bloom as they say.

I actually think they’re both complex characters otherwise Xiao Feng wouldn’t stand out so much. It’s just that Xiao Feng’s complexity is mostly internal, through the changes to her personality and aura. She is a girl who wants freedom but to a certain extent understands that she has certain responsibilities as well and tries to meet them.

I can’t feel sorry for LCY because he does some unforgivable things to Xiao Feng, while Xiao Feng didn’t really cause him much harm in return, so the weight of their sins to me is different. And I don’t feel he really protected Xiao Feng otherwise those three years wouldn’t have been so rough f or her.

It’s strange and somewhat awful to say but if he was going to betray Xiao Feng, he should have let her die at the River of Forgetfulness. That way she wouldn’t have to suffer for the last three years of her life, watching all her friends die.
