Are they a couple in the movie? It seems like it. They look good together.

After seeing the clip of HDJ and PXR in the same frame earlier last week, I’m still upset this show hasn’t aired yet. They look so good together😭

It will depend on the screenwriter and director. Sometimes it can be done well. I watched a spy show with PXR last year and the romance didn’t interfere with the plot at all but it was really good because it was super subtle and fit the era and the character personalities. So I’ll stay optimistic about this one too.

Seems it’s still region locked which is a shame.

It’s a light-hearted watch with a smart, calm, and gentle female lead and strong supportive male lead. The pacing is pretty good. The revenge storyline is the main focus but there is a good amount of romance too.

Can’t remember but it takes a few episodes but there’s no breakup between the leads once they get together.

They don’t really exist in newer dramas. Ning Yi from RotP is my favourite of this type of character though.

Scheduling and she has more scenes I think. In the book there’s a few parts where it’s just her.

There’s actually two cuts. I can’t remember which one was posted but the one where XH’s hand entirely covers LCC’s hand and he’s basically whispering in her ear while drawing the bow has insane chemistry.

It won’t be the focus.

It can’t air without a broadcasting license though. So it is either happening soon or they’re using the promo to stabilise/revitalise the situation.

Phoenix Stage fans seem to be pretty chill😂 Hopefully it stays that way. I think shows with a good viewing atmosphere tend to do better. Though this show hasn’t gotten as much attention as others, I hope it broadcasts well. They have good chemistry, the plot sounds interesting, and they’re both good looking.

Omg that was so funny 🤣 It was so spot on too. That’s exactly how she laughs. The head bop during the interview and how he helped her off the stage was cute too. I’m glad she was able to work with and learn from Jackie Chan. You can already see the improvement in the way her characters carry themselves. She used to be strongest in face and eyes acting mostly but you can see her integrating more body acting now too.

It’s still early days and I’m not sure if training has finished. If there are fight scenes like that, they’ll probably be “leaked” to a marketing account though so don’t worry. They will definitely come.

Xiao Ran still isn’t there yet so no scenes with her. There are some tidbits floating around with BBH’s actress and GJ but I didn’t see any action scenes for them yet either.
