Good acting from everyone, sensitive topics handled with care, interesting and complex characters, slightly toxic and codependent relationship leading to a healing journey, happy ending.
6.7 rating? Seriously??????? It was a good watch. Good acting, good chemistry, great cinematography, realistic ending. Not overtly obvious, not polished, not unfinished, not lovey-dovey, not empty, not totally dark, but rather melancholic, subtle, gritty, realistic, deep, and mature.
7.5 rating is a joke. This is a good movie with quality acting, good script, and a realistic ending. The main leads are amazing and Park Sung Woong is a versatile actor.
I'm at episode 12... Don't get me wrong but this show is so comedically angsty sometimes and it's like I'm back in the 90s watching a Mexican soap opera on TV. Btw, a solid watch, not your average toxic BL. Hopefully, more stories like this will be adapted into live-action format.
A pretty good LGBTQ+ slice-of-life fantasy movie from Taiwan. There are def sparks between the two main characters, it's not just a simple friendship or bromance imho.
It seems to me that most viewers of the genre are young, and even in Japan itβs considered "old".
Valid point. Kinda understand that, for example, an 18-year-old person thinks that 38 is old -- 38 is indeed much older than 18. When reading comments "oh, 30+ is old man/woman whatever" kinda makes me feel old. π
