The new opening scene (the illustrations one) already strongly suggests they are a couple. Probably since My School President often reveals things later on after it happens, they are going to show that both of them have been dating in secret.
A currently airing series, My School President (I posted on this before) has a lot of similarities and feel to Bad Buddy, so for those nostalgic of Bad Buddy, can also consider watching this series (of course we always rewatch Bad Buddy too, many times ):))
Bad Buddy and My School President similarities~
1. Both revolve around music, with one of the main couples involved in writing a music (Pran's Our Song, and Gun's yet to be completed music)
2. Supportive teams on each of the main couple's side (Pat and Pran's Engineering and Architecture gangs, then Tinn's Student Council team and Gun's Chinzilla band)
3. Conflict between each group mentioned in early part of story - that get resolved later on (Engineering vs Architecture in Bad Buddy, Student Council vs Music Club in My School President, due to the Principal wanting to close Music Club for good)
4. Related to the previous point, each of the main couple is the head of each group (Pat as head of Engineering gang, Pat as head of Architecture gang, then Tinn as Student Council President/School President, Gun as Music Club Leader)
5. Music Competition (Freshy Music Contest in Bad Buddy, and Hot Wave in My School President)
6. One member of each main couple's group end up being good friend/couple (Wai and Korn in Bad Buddy, Tiw and Por in My School President)
7. One of the mothers being a (potential) big obstacle in main couple's romance life (Pran's mum Dissaya and Tinn's mum Photjanee)
8. Beach scenes (in Bad Buddy EP 6 (and 11) vs My School President EP 9)

Saw some posts comparing Bad Buddy and My School President, and some said that one is better or the other one is better. My take is, both series are great in their own ways, and each have their own appeal to different groups of people.
Bad Buddy appeals more to those who like the tension and the complicated story that spanned the whole series (the school feud and family feud), while My School President has a relatively lighter storyline that appeals more to those who prefer fluffer, less tension based stories. Many I'm sure (myself included) enjoy both immensely.
In one earlier post, I posted on the many similarities between both series, and I'm sure many Bad Buddy fans and My School President fans (and both series' fans) can agree that there are a lot of similarities between both. Personally, that is what attracts me to watch this series as well.
Comparing is fine, as we inevitably will compare between the series we watch, but remember that 'better' is always relative and different people have different opinions ):)

I kinda enjoy watching this series too. I don't enjoy the Matteo's kinks or Ken's toxic part much, but the rest are quite passable, at least for the cuteness of Burger King couple.
As we are all likely aware of, I think MDL here is rather overly critical of drama series in general (YouTube remarks and comments are generally more positive). Hit Bite Love is not that good a drama, but it has its good moments. Of course can't compare to the likes of Bad Buddy or the currently airing My School President (which is Bad Buddy like). :D

If one is to take into account the period of time since each series were released, then yes, Bad Buddy having been released just a year ago would probably be a solid #2 after 2gether
(Why? As Bad Buddy accumulated over 250 million views in just a year after finale, while SOTUS’ close to 400 million took it 6-7 years, and Theory of Love’s close to 300 million took it 4 years to reach)

Thanks to its strong character, story and BB references (plus actors having played there as well), this series is making me feel all the butterflies I felt when I watched Bad Buddy all over again!

Yes same here, My School President gives me a lot of similar feeling like Bad Buddy as I watch it. Highly recommended series, and worth the current 8.4 rating they receive now in MDL.

I don’t know what methodology this site used (or whether it was even legit, even the year used was wrong - 2033!)
