And I just saw somewhere there's talk of Royal Five (KristSingto, OffGun, TayNew, BrightWin and EarthMix) after ATOTS had finished airing. If Bad Buddy is at least at the level of ATOTS (which I feel that it has surpassed in quality and more), then I don't see why OhmNanon shouldn't be among them.

It's a bit debatable, but I agree that since Not Me was just airing its first episode, it's not comparable to Bad Buddy.
If I remember correctly, when Bad Buddy first aired, it also gained a rating of 9.2 before dropping down to 8.4, but not lower than that. So comparing based on first episode rating alone, Bad Buddy is still above Not Me.
(But again, it's hard to compare based on very few episodes)

And by comments, it's #2 as well. Based on the trend, it's gonna sail past The Untamed's 16000 comments by the time it ends. (Not counting Immortality which hasn't aired yet, which I found rather amusing and unnatural to have 35000 comments plus with 30000 of those within just this half a year alone)
I am not defending him and his actions, whatever he and his plots may be. But after rewatching EP 8 again, I feel that part of the reason why Wai was so angry at the end, although he found out that Pa is Pat's younger sister, is that Pran repeatedly tried to prevent him from chasing after Pa.
To Wai, it may seem like a double standard (if you try to put yourself into his character). Pran dating Pat behind everyone's back, including his, while he could not chase after the one he fancied. So Pran's actions to him kind of feel like hypocritical.
Watch the bar scene again when Pran is drinking with Wai. What Pran said at that occasion, was a reference to his own love story with Pat, while saying that to dissuade Wai from chasing after Pa. Wai likely has suspected what happened between the two of them there (since it's after the unknown guy - possibly Wai, seeing them in the car). So to Wai, finding out Pran in relationship with Pat must have been a slap in the face/betrayal in a sense.
I hope whoever reads this understand what I meant. It's a bit hard to express in words, to be honest.

If I am in their shoes, I can understand their feelings. Them finding out that way must have also been a betrayal for them. Pat and Pran both have repeatedly denied and not revealing their relationship (even as friends earlier on, less still boyfriends later), and that must have felt like a slap in the face for Korn, Wai and others.
But I'm not defending their actions and attitude either. What I want is for us to understand that as I said before, some of their behaviours make sense if we try to see things from their perspective.
That said, how many of us are looking forward to Pat-Pran and Ink-Pa double date in the room in EP 9??

Yes, not only that but it also feels so pure and genuine. They are willing to find middle ground and to understand each other. Many BL series even top ones failed in this aspect, some miserably.
A lot of conflicts and unnecessary plots were caused by these, and sometimes ruined the couple themselves and the feelings we have for them.
