Nice, that's a really great retainment of views for the episodes released so far! Normally the drop off is much…
That drop is also understandable because EP 1 and earlier episodes have been aired longer, and some maybe still hesitated to watch after watching first two episodes.
That’s why need to have more people to know what this series is all about so that they’ll watch the rest of the episodes too.
I am someone who firmly believe that a series should not be judged by its popularity but by its quality. (I posted Bad Buddy’s stats just earlier below for those who are interested.)
But is popularity important? Yes it is. The reality is such that popularity does drive a certain product and in BL industry, a particular coupling. Lack of popularity or dismal performance may discourage the production company (GMM or any others) from continuing with the actors pairing.
I’m sure many of us in our hearts want to see a second season of Bad Buddy and/or more of Ohm and Nanon as the main leads for other BL series in the future.
All these will be much more likely to happen with popularity (and quality of course). Ohm and Nanon are also still very young, and while they may not immediately continue with BL series in the near future, but the future is yet unknown, and given time, I don’t see why we can’t have more of Ohm-Nanon pairing in the future, or more of Pat and Pran.
Our support for Bad Buddy counts, everyone! Every single tweet, views, comments and all!

Since we are finally halfway through Bad Buddy, I hope we can reach 100 million views before the finale.
Note that if that's the case, then popularity wise, Bad Buddy will be better than 1000 stars and Fish Upon the Sky (other popular GMM BL series in 2021). 1000 stars only reached around 80 million total a few months after it finished airing (but it also had 2 less episodes, to be fair).
And I believe that other top series like Dark Blue Kiss also had the same viewership over the same period of time.
Bad Buddy YouTube cumulative episode views (combined total of all parts per episode) (Rounded to the nearest thousand)
EP 1: 8,087,000 EP 2: 6,400,000 EP 3: 6,213,000 EP 4: 5,939,000 EP 5: 7,346,000 (We all know why it’s so popular) EP 6: 5,734,000 (EP 6 viewership is actually comparable to EP 5’s first week)
Grand Total: 39,719,000 (As of Friday, 10 December 2021 at 1 pm Bangkok Time/UTC+7h)
It should pass 40 million total before EP 7 airs tonight. Hope EP 7 will surpass even EP 5 and EP 6!
According to GMMTV, Bad Buddy EP 6 was top trending on Twitter worldwide, in Thailand and in Singapore.
If EP 7 proves to be amazing later, I am sure it’s gonna be the same, and not only the comment section here will go crazy, but the YouTube and WeTV viewership will explode.
Since I keep seeing wrong narratives regarding the cause of the rivalry between Pat and Pran's families in the…
You summarised the novel story well. Thank you for spending the time to type it.
In the series I believe the story is quite a lot different from the novel version, from the nature of their business and others. And more importantly, I have a feeling that Pat's father wasn't as terrible as his character was in the novel.
On the contrary, it was Pran's mother who seems to be the one taking Pat's father's novel position in the novel. If you look carefully, it was Pran who seemed to fear his mother so much (in the novel it wasn't the case).
Pat's father didn't give any indication of being overbearing and stubborn the way his novel character was portrayed. In fact, I felt that he was being very reasonable in his conversation with Pran's mom there.
That said, we still have 6 episodes to go, and it is still too early to know more about the story unless the series progress more. One main disadvantage of drama series is that, without an accompanying novel that is very closely related/identical to its plot, it's hard to get details sometimes. We may need P'Afterday to write another novel based on the series version for this.
Drama focuses a lot more on character interactions, while novel tends to focus on details and setting up contexts more.
While we patiently await EP 7 (in a super long wait…), keep the discussions going! For those who are annoyed…
Wai is actually a good person, a loyal friend - if Pran were to come clean and reveal his relationship with Pat eventually, I won’t be surprised if Wai would be supportive of his good friend’s choice.
(In that new credit scene, when Wai was ‘kissing’ Pran’s neck, it may be that he was teasing Pat in the later episodes. Alternatively, he may have wanted to test out if Pat really liked Pran, like some sort of confirmation!)

For those who are annoyed by Wai’s actions in EP 6, I have written a detailed explanation in one of the earlier comments under spoilers.
If I were in his shoes, his actions would perfectly make sense to me (but not necessarily acceptable)
In short - Wai had bones to pick with Pat and the Engineering gang based on what happened between them in the previous episodes.
(I feel Wai has been holding back, since he has rightly suspected something between Pran and Pat. Obviously Pran wasn’t actively pushing Pat away) - he asked Pran twice (at least) about it, but as we know, Pran hasn’t revealed it yet.

SOTUS has about 300 million plus views as of now, not including the sequel.
Love by Chance (not by GMM) about the same as SOTUS.
Dark Blue Kiss around 200 million views.
We know of some shows that are just like that.

Can't believe it has just been a week. It felt like ages!
(Will post the YouTube links again later tonight for your convenience)
Those who need more Ohm and Nanon contents! Just released!
It's on Bad Buddy!
It's good to see this series getting more and more popular with each episode. Happy to be part of the growing community.
Will continue to share more of course.
