What VPN do you have? I've been trying to have a good VPN that actually works for Netflix for me.

I don’t want to read too much into the intro (I replayed it so many times I lost count - the two couples’ scenes are simply too sweet) plus it’s still too early to guess with just 2/16 of the episodes.

But I think that somehow Anont (P’Neung)’s soul and his memories came to be fully merged with Tofu the Teddy Bear’s memories eventually in the later episodes, as based on appearance, the eyes, even hairstyle and demeanor, the one whom Sarin is portraying in the intro screams of Anont a lot more than Tofu.

So it might be that Nut finally got a chance to fulfil his first love and made it a reality, thanks to the ‘Miracle’ of Teddy Bear. He deserves happiness, seriously. While Anont (P’ Neung) who didn’t realise that Nut loved him in the high school time came to realise this gradually through the experiences he had while dwelling in the teddy bear, Tofu.

Just my thoughts!

(And note that there are still quite a few characters that haven’t made their appearance yet, so we’ll see how they fit in the story)

Title Not Me
I specifically made this account to rant about how underrated this drama is and how mad I am at gmmtv for not…
There is Bad Buddy. Just like Not Me, it has been revolutionary in acting, direction, editing, cinematography, BGM, and some uniquely Bad Buddy including chemistry, healthy relationship, trope-breaking among other things.

And I put some thoughts about this elsewhere before, that the lower popularity of Not Me is not so much of GMMTV's lack of support and promotion (which happened to Bad Buddy as well), but rather the genre of Not Me and the relatively politically heavy and the issues it brought up. Don't get me wrong, if GMMTV has been promoting Not Me and Bad Buddy more, it would have helped, but genre and people's preferences matter a lot.

Not Me is amazing in bringing those topics up and the director, the actors, the team and all did amazing in this. However, that unfortunately may not lead to popularity. A series can be stellar in a lot of things, and helmed by popular stars but lacking in popularity as is happening to Not Me, just as another series can be rather lacklustre but yet somehow befuddlingly highly popular.

It happens, and I have seen evidences from recent and currently airing series.

Just offering my thoughts here. BenedictTan from Bad Buddy page here!

I posted some more new insights and thoughts for the EP 2 of The Miracle of Teddy Bear, which was just released. EP 3 and EP 4 will be released today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) respectively.

I've enjoyed watching it so far very much, and it's clear #2 for me after Bad Buddy. Highly recommended!

My speculation is this:Tatarn is Nut's older stepsibling that had been born to Saen, his father but to a different…
Additional note:

Most Thais are Buddhists that believe in reincarnation and the concept of next life. Just as in He's Coming To Me, on how souls can't move on when they still lingering attachment to this world, so it might be that something kept both Saen and Anont from moving on.

I honestly just hope that our main couple, the Inn Sarin and Jobb couple (Tofu/Anont and Nut) can have a happy ending in the end. I am quite sure the second couple, Gen and Aneung will get a happy ending. Still too early to tell with just 2 episodes, and we may never know until the finale.

So yeah, just saying what I thought. Sorry for the long read.

Hi all, if I have the time today or tomorrow, I will try to use VPN to try which countries in Asia that The Miracle of Teddy Bear is available in Netflix, so either if you are staying in those countries, you can access it directly, or if you use VPN, then you know which country to tune your VPN to.

I will probably post the list of countries here later, as soon as I can.

Setting your VPN to Singapore should work for now.

But here in india it's still not available on Netflix. Why 😭
Did you watch EP 1 on Netflix in India? If not then probably the reason is that it's not available in India. Meaning that the Netflix availability is more limited than I thought.

My speculation is this:

Tatarn is Nut's older stepsibling that had been born to Saen, his father but to a different mother (I won't be surprised as lakorns do have plots like this before). Based on the story, Saen came back to his house after a year when he first met Nut's mother, and based on his age and appearance, it's not impossible that he's already married or even somehow, already divorced before he met Mrs. Na, Nut's mum. One of the trailers showed Tatarn giving Nut the teddy bear, and cared for him, celebrated birthday for Nut.

(Note: Hint? In the intro, Nut’s mum and another woman, played by Rinlanee were put side by side before Nut’s dad. And Tatarn is probably going to end up with Prib)

(Additional Note: This is just a speculation, and I was thinking that Saen might have left Nut and his mom behind or something must have happened that we do not yet know at the moment, because Nut liked a guy, something that Saen did not like - from the teaser)

Another possibility is Tatarn is Nut's first love. And what is constant is that the teddy bear came to be human at the very moment Tatarn was attacked at the railway, which is why, when Tofu lost consciousness for a while, Tatarn gained consciousness at the same time, only to lose consciousness again when Tofu regained his.

(But based on the later part of the episode, it seems that Anont Tanakul, P'Neung was really Tatarn's first love, so I am more towards Tatarn as Nut's older sibling/stepsibling)

And I was right. Anont was really Aneung's (Gen's later love interest) older brother. And he passed away, likely many years ago but Nut did not know about this. So, the reason why he was sad when Tofu the teddy bear was first awake was probably either his dad passed away due to some accident that happened to kill Anont as well, and then Anont's soul somehow latched to the teddy bear through Nut's tears and the memory of his first love (note that this is just my thoughts)

Then, regarding Saen being alive instead of dead as Nut said (the one with Tatarn), I was thinking that it might have also been yet another 'miracle' just the way how Tofu had Anont (P'Neung)'s look and appearance but without his memories (yet?). So the Saen we see on screen in EP 2 may not be the same Saen as Nut's dad (but involved in the same kind of soul transference/transmigration/?) as what happened between Anont and Tofu? (I was inspired by this when I watched EP 3 preview at the end of EP 2, especially when Tofu asked, which was the real Mr Saen?)

Oh yes, one more - I won't be surprised if Anik (not sure if that's his name, as in Netflix it wasn't revealed yet, so I use the one here from MDL), the police inspector who interrogated Prib and Saen, has the surname Tanakul. Yes, which means that he's the father of both Anont and Aneung. ):)

(By the way, I really like Tee's portrayal of Aneung when he recited that article 295 before Gen, it was so, very flirty, manly and amazing!)

And I saw somewhere that the novel story is sad, anyone can spoil me on this? I won't mind.

I enjoyed EP 2 very much. It was very good. It made me totally glued to the screen the way Bad Buddy did for me (though I still like Bad Buddy more).

More in spoilers after this.

What I really like about this series is just as EP 1 already revealed so many important informations (helped by the length of the episode too), EP 2 reveals even more crucial info (and I like the way that they handled it).

That element of mystery and how each flashbacks reveal information from a new and different perspective really made me glued to the screen for the entire episode.

Please please, I love the main couple, I hope the series won't waste too much of its time on the second couple.…
Actually I love the second couple as well. And we have more than enough running time for both couples to explore their love story.

The tiny round glasses that Kensit wears make me irrationally angry. Why did they do him dirty like that??? It’s…
Actually to me he looks cute. I think it's just our personal preferences.

I'm also one of those who like both couples in this series too ):)
