I usually stay away from dramas with HJE. She is screaming and overacting a lot - but I do not have to go into detail, as you can read this all over the net and I do not want to bore you. What makes this drama watchable are PSJ and CSW. They managed to tone her down a bit. Those two performed very very well - as expected - and I really enjoyed it. Will not rewatch. Solid 7/10
This one - for me - was better than the korean version. It is too long, and you can ff a lot of scenes, but the chemistry here was better and the FLds acting was very good compared to the original!
Oh my.....the only reason to watch this is the main leads. HL and ZLY acting is great, the rest is meeeeeh. Story: meeeeh, characters: double meeeeeeh. HL character is a wimpy weak mommy mommy mommmy boy - I was surprised, that he managed to dress himself without mommy, but I bet, that she secretly prepared all his clothes for him, that he was supposed to wear every day of the week.....I bet, she reminded him to brush his teeth and to go to the bathroom a few times a day....I bet, she spoon fed him, when nobody was watching and she helped him tie his shoelaces....because really, he was not even able to speak up for himself or his wife. ZLY character was the typical martyr victim type. She chose a weakling for a husband and had to suffer through the marriage from hell. The MIL was....well.....someone, that never heard a NO from anybody, a spoiled frustrated brat with a very, very, very close relationship with her son. She needed to be put in her place, but there was nobody, that could have done that. Not the wimpy son and not the martyr victim DIL. The story is predictable from episode 3. You will know what will happen - you will know everything that will happen, soooo boring. No twists, no turns, just boring bullying over and over and over again. The husband staring at his shoes every time his wife is bullied - no matter, who bullied her. SOOO many filler episodes with nothing else happening. Of course the hysterical overly mean SFL plays a big role and causes a lot of grieve but in the end everybody loves everybody and everything is forgotten and forgiven. Meeeeh. That such great actors as HL and ZLY even accepted to be a part of such a low standard drama surprises me but well, at least HL was paired with an actress that can really act this time! Overall watchable if you skip everything but the interactions between the main leads. Rating 3/10 only because of the acting. Story 1/10. If you are not a fan of the main actors and only watch because of them, do not waste your time.
Well....well.....well.....it is not bad, but it is not good either...to be honest, it was pretty boring. The FL was too childish for my liking, the ML wore the same expression for 97% of the drama. Chemistry between the leads - nonexistent. No joke, none at all. They had some good moments, they hugged a few times - not even a tiny little fake camera kiss. Then came the last few episodes - eyeroll. And the ending..... My advice: watch the last episode first. If you can live with that ending after going through 17 more or less boring episodes, then go for it. My rating: 5/10

You are right, it was hard to keep in mind everything he did, it was just so much. So missing sth is normal. I just wanted to make it clear, that he used physical abuse too.

BUT, as usuall, HL carried this drama (why is he so often paired with weak actresses?) and together with WZR achieved to make it watchable. Unfortunately this was one of YEs weakest performances - she did nothing but cry for 95% of the drama - and normally she can do crying really well (and that summarizes her acting ability), but she overacted a lot in this one. Maybe it would have been better to just watch one episode a week, maybe then I could have stood her and not get that annoyed by her performance.....I started skipping her scenes and focused on HL, WZR and all the others. Overall the drama is crazy and over the top but I was in the mood for that, so it was ok. However, the abuse was too much for me. I can not and will never understand, how anyone can even try to pass stockholm syndrome as love! I would like to know, how many of those "I want a happy end between those two" faction would still think that way, if the ML was a disgusting, unkept man with bad teeth and a beer belly.....just saying.....

Sorry to say that, but she does not get other offers. Her acting ability is really limited - she can cry very good - so she does not get any roles, where she would have to have the ability to express more than that.
