Big, big eyeroll. One: Basically the same story as praomook. Guy is forced to marry a woman he does not love. Woman insists constantly to the point of manhandling him. Both FLds do not take NO for an answer and force themselves on the ML. Here the ML resists for 95% of the lakorn. In praomook he resists for 99% of the lakorn. How is it supposed to be a love story, if the man refuses the woman for the biggest part of the story and then, I should believe, that he finally fell in love and did not just accept her out of resignation, because he has no way out? Nope. Second: the on screen chemistry is missing. Well, how should there be any chemistry, if the ML refuses her, runs away from her, hides from her and tells her NO until the last two episodes? Third: This one, as well as praomook has this psycho FL. In any other lakorn, those FLds would be the SFLds that do anything to get the man and that everyone of us dislike. Not my cup of tea.
i need to stop looking at these ratings because the higher the rating the more disappointed i am. This is not…
I have to agree. For me it is a 3 due to the FL. I do not mind slow or trusting FLds but this one was so way over the top....she was not just dumb, she was plain stupid.
For me, a strong woman is not someone, that screams, shouts, beats up people and has to win against anyone out there. For me, a strong woman is someone, who loves herself, respects herself, treats herself good, can communicate and makes sure, that the people around her treat her well too. If you have to scream, shout and beat other people up, you are weak - this goes for man and women.
congratulations for just wasting some minutes of your life by watching raw and not understanding a thing
Sorry for the late reply! I learn it for work. We have a teacher coming in once a week....I have been learning for a year now, and can understand a lot with someone, who speaks really very clearly and slowly. Of course, our teacher focuses on business communication, as that is what we need....I try to practise at home watching dramas and trying to keep up with the speed and the - sometimes - swallowing of word fragments.....why do you learn it?
NA Eun Jin: The SFL (Na eun jin) annoyed me so much. Her husband cheated on her, she knows the pain this causes and she turns around and does the exact same thing to another woman. Knowing that Joo Jae Hak is married and has two kids, she enters into an affair with him. Well, let´s pretend, that I overlooked her bad character up until this point, but how she acts, when everything comes to light is just ..... WOW! She cries with her stoic expression 99 % of the remaining episodes. SHE acts like SHE is the victim in this whole affair - SHE, not Song Mi Kyung. Wanna get back at your husband and have an affair too? Wanna get revenge? Well, go on and take a single guy, have some fun with said single guy...as much as you want, get all the revenge out, but DO NOT take a married man and hurt an innocent woman to raise your own ego! Afterwards she pretended to love the married man oh sooo sooo much to the point where she could only cry and suffer because she lost him. She excused her behavior with love.....you will love the scene, where her mother teaches her a lesson about how she should have behaved, if she really fell in love! There is no character growth. She stays in her martyr victim role till the end. Song Mi Kyung: her character wasn´t really "there". She lived her whole life for her family, never developing the real "her". She served her MIL like a servant, she served her husband like a servant, she loved her kids and her brother dearly - and her husband by the way. There is some character growth after he cheats but not enough for my liking. In my opinion, the best happy ending for her would have been a divorce. She deserved that divorce. She really did. She deserved a man, that really loved her, that took the time to get to know her, that showed an interest, that wanted to spend time with her. She really did deserve to divorce her indifferent husband. Why? Because even in the last episode we see, how much the ML loves the other woman....but insists on keeping her, insists on loving her too. Joo Jae Hak: that one is hard. I wanna say that he is a jerk through and through - and he is - but he also is not. He enters a loveless marriage - willingly - and tries to keep this going till he falls in love with the SFL. The jerky thing is, that he enters this affair knowing, that the SFL is married and has a kid too. He knows, that she is only acting this way, because her husband has had an affair. He tries to keep both woman - never intending to get a divorce or breaking up with his mistress. He does not want to divorce and starts to try to get her "back". The not so jerky thing is, that he tries to be honest after they are caught. He tells his wife, that he loves the other woman and that he loves her too. He tells her, that he intended to keep both woman and that he will keep the other woman in his heart. I like that because he gave her the opportunity to choose - altough he knows how to influence her and make her do exactly what he wants her to do and he pushes all of this buttons fully aware of what he is doing (jerky and not so jerky at the same time). I could not decide till the end, and I am still not sure, if he really loved his wife or what his reasons for wanting to keep her were - maybe someone can voice their opinion on that one, I would appreciate it! There is a tiny little bit of character growth - but do not expect much! He stays selfish till the end. Kim Sung Soo: altough everything started with his cheating, he was the only sane one here. Yes, he cheated, he regretted, he tried. His wife forgave him and that should have been the end. When he finds out, that she cheated too, he is devastated, asking himself and her, if she really fell in love or just wanted revenge. I think he could have lived with the revenge, but he had a hard time, because his wife morphed into the crying, martyr victim, stoic looking monster in the corner. He still goes on trying. He really does. He, in my opinion, would have deserved a divorce too. There is character growth after he cheated. I still can not figure out, if the SFL really fell in love with the ML. I really can not. And I can not figure out, if the ML really loved his wife. For me, it is a NO for both questions but maybe that is just me. The ending was not to my liking.
I saw a clip of Song My Kyung's character slapping the ML after she asked him to come closer and it made me want…
For me a happy ending would have been divorce for both couples. We did not get that. She stayed with her husband altough he told her that he loves the other woman - really strange but ok, it is a drama.....
Perfectly depicted mental health issue: take away the FLs martyr victim status and she is angry. Every single person, that tried to help her gave up in the end. Yes, she wanted to go on being the victim and suffering till the end. They killed her baby, they injured her mother severely....but the FL was blossoming in all that suffering and enjoyed her victim role.....this drama should be a must watch for first year psychology students..... Actually it made absolute sense, that she stayed with the ML in the end. Only he can make her suffer more and more. If you want to watch for the romance - do not waste your time, there is none. Only suffering, humiliation, degrading and abuse right up until the very last episode.
I loved the drama just like I also dislike it. They did the second ML dirty. They made him pathetic. Innocent…
You can not force love. He asked her to marry him so many times and she always turned him down. She never gave him hope. He helped her because he thought she was his first love, and somehow he loved her, but I think, he knew exactly, that she would never ever fall in love with him.
