I’ve watched 3 of YY’s other dramas and have enjoyed them. He does a good enough job and he’s pretty. I think he works best when his character has a flirty side. So I thought Who rules the world, especially first half, played to his strengths.
You are my glory was the other where he was well cast.
So definitely do try his other works.

I get he was probably traumatised by past experiences, like everyone else. He needs to realise that the truth is probably somewhere between the two teaching methods. I hope it won’t take loss of life for him to realise this.

Of the 3 firefighter dramas this year, this has been the favourite so far. The romance is like coming home. The realities of the crew’s daily life is well executed. The plight of the instructor was one of the best I’ve seen. His acting was perfect.
Bringing innovative and new ideas to firefighting in order to minimise loss is what Luo Ming ye should focus on. The battle for who is the ‘best’ director is surely the stupidest idea he has had. That’s such a red flag and he is doomed to fail. The way he barked out those orders! We are surely getting to the point where both directors will have to work together. And restore the respect and friendship they once had.
