Some comments on last episodesKim Ok Bin, what a great actress šššActually all the cast is great. DalsaeĀ“s…
I loved that fight scene because it reminded us why we were so fascinated with T&T in season 1. They are so ambitious and power hungry and yet when they fight on the same side, they are amazing and we cheer for them. They literally would burn the world down to protect their own.
This is the most bizarre case for plagiarism. The characters are nothing alike except for the FL moving from the city to the countryside and meeting the ML. Also this is a well trodden trope in romance books and Hallmark movies.
For the courageous ones who have watched the first 6 episodes, is it worth watching it? I love youth dramas, not…
Iāve watched all 6 and Iām even able to compensate for the bad subs. I am glad to know what the banner said. It confirmed the feeling I had that her mother wanted to be free. The story is engaging. The youngsters all have their own struggles and it doesnāt fall into the trap of making anyone into a bully. Except for the adults. The adults come out as either floundering or inept. We donāt get their reasons or motivations. But it doesnāt matter here. This is a youth focused drama. So I will stick with it in spite of the subs
Hello I am Korean. I heard that many foreigners have recently moved on to Chinese dramas because of a slump with…
I am alternating between the two. But probably now watch more cdramas to kdramas over the past year. For fantasy and historical, I prefer cdramas. The quality is getting so good. Except for Alchemy of souls, which gave me all the enjoyment I wanted. I still watch Kdramas because the production value is still very good. The dramas are shorter in length and the actors are engaging. If itās an actor I love then I will certainly try their latest drama. So thatās why I am watching Shin Hye Sun. I hope kdrama doesnāt follow the trend in the western world to make romance an incidental part of a drama. Itās ok sometimes but many of us have been attracted to kdrama because it satisfied an urge that western drama didnāt anymore. I suppose BL is taking up some of that market, especially with cdrama putting out less of such output. Cdrama often has an agenda ( political/ social ). In fact, we read of low birth rates and women not wanting to marry for instance in SK. Kdramas will reflect a variety of positions on marriage and children. I often have to switch off part of my mind with cdrama because the propaganda is so blatant. I feel I donāt have to do so with kdrama.
