The scene between Eun Chong and his grandfather, also the scene when Eun Chong and Ji Chang samchon get treated by JinGoo's mom with the duck, are heartwarming!
It's like an oasis between all the hates, schemes and the politics happening in Hyesung Group of companies and the chairman Shin's family.
Is Yujin important she’s not the FL, it seems Hana is , so who is Yujin is she important? she’s not even in…
Yujin/Duna is important because the character connects all the dots between Hana (the FL), chairman Shin (the 2FL), and Eun Chong (Yujin's son).
She's not in the list of characters because the character is already dead, and her adult character was just a guest role during flashback. Her child character has more importance in the first 4 episodes of the drama.
Love this drama, the pace is just right, a bit fast for daily drama, and not dragging (like the other daily drama I watched, My Merry Marriage).
All of the scenes with Eun Chong are heartwarming. His encounter with his biological grandfather, who became Santa Claus at his kindergarten. His and Ji Chang samchon's encounter with Jin-goo's Mom, who treated them to the delicious duck she prepared. So heartwarming to watch.
Oh the other hand, I hate all scenes related to Se Yeung and her Mom.
The boy is so cute. :) And he has curly hair just like his father.
With FL getting pregnant by the 2ML, I foresee the intended FL-ML relationship still having a long way to go. How would everyone from both families approve of their relationship if FL is pregnant with 2ML's child? especially the evil grandmother of the ML.
Seonju and her family are really being robbed left right and centre. They are forced to pay for an accident that was not their fault. Her husband stole the winning lottery ticket that was supposed to be hers.
The real daughter of Chairman Shin (Yujin) is Duna, not Hana. Duna and Hana were best friends in the orphanage…
What revenge? The synopsis doesn't say anything about Hana taking revenge.
What I can see now is Ji Seok taking revenge on Chairman Shin for ruining his parents' business.
As for Hana, so far I don't see her taking any revenge for anything. She just wants to find Eun Chong's grandmother (Duna/Yujin's mother), as per Duna's wishes.
For those who got confused about who the real missing daughter is.
Chairwoman Shin's daughter, Yujin, who went missing when she was young, is Duna, not Hana. Up until episode 16, this is what I understand:
Hana: - She lost her parents when she was young (the parents are unknown). - She went to the orphanage. - She was adopted by a mean family with an abusive mom, who treated Hana as a maid instead of a daughter. - The abusive mom got caught in the abusive act (with help from Jin Goo at the hospital). Jin Goo and Hana had some encounters at the hospital when they were young, Jin Goo was having some kind of heart surgery. - Hana was sent back to the orphanage. - She became best friends with Yujin/Duna at the orphanage - She still keeps in touch with Duna even though she was adopted and moved to the US. - When Duna came to Korea to find her birth mom, Hana met her briefly before she died in a hit-and-run accident. - Hana went to the morgue to identify Duna's body. - Hana took Duna's son, Eun Chong, and raised him.
Yujin: - She is Chairman Shin's biological daughter and Se Yeong's cousin. - Her father (Chairman Shin's husband) took her and Se Yeong to an island (presumably for a holiday). - Yujin went missing at the port while playing with Se Yeong. Yujin's dad was buying the boat tickets at that time. She was unconscious in the basement of a boat, and the boat departed. Se Yeong lied to Yujin's dad saying that she didn't see her. - Yujin woke up finding herself in a boat sailing somewhere with the boatman. - The boat was caught by storm, and presumably capsized or sunk. The boatman died, but Yujin's body was never found. - Yujin miraculously survived, suffering from amnesia. She was misidentified (thought to be someone else) and got sent to the orphanage (the same orphanage where Hana lived). - Yujin met Hana at the orphanage. She took the name Duna and became best friends with Hana. - Duna got adopted, and the family moved to the US. Hana still kept in touch with Duna even after she moved to the US. - Duna had a son -- Eun Chong. It is not known if she was married or not, and not too sure who was the father. - Duna and her son came to Korea to find her biological mom. She found the house, and met someone (a lady, who I guess is Se Yeung's mom), who asked Duna to meet her and that she would text her the time and place. - Duna met Hana briefly during lunchtime before she went to the place directed by Se Yeung's mom. - Se Yeung's mom orchestrated the hit-and-run accident that killed Duna. - Hana went to the morgue to identify Duna's body. - Hana took Eun Chong and raised him.
That's my understanding so far.
Below is my prediction/guess (not confirmed yet):
The evil Ji Seok, as part of his revenge, might come up with a "fake" DNA test showing that Hana is Chairman Shin's biological daughter. He can easily do that by stealing Eun Chong's DNA sample and matching it with Chairman Shin's DNA. They will match, because they are real grandmother-grandson.
So this might be where Hana will become the "fake" daughter of Chairman Shin.
But this is just my prediction, not confirmed. I might be wrong.
