can someone pls tell me why XL decided that it would be a great idea to stop XY from marrying CSFL at the wedding?…
Well we know that Jing asked XL to interrupt the wedding and minimize the harm. Since the drama didn't clarify XL's reasons for choosing right at that moment, we can only speculate about his intentions. Leaving the wedding would tarnish XY's reputation and could strain relations between the Chenrong/Chisui and Xiyan. Doing that right at the wedding in front of a lot of people would magnify the impact. Who might benefit from this? The Chenrong army, maybe? Or it could be just XL being XL.
I found the disturbing poster is quite foretelling. From S1, we know XY, CX, CSFL are aligned in their political…
That's quite insightful. But the quality of the poster is really not good; it's bad Photoshop. Look at XY's dress on her left side β the red drapes should flow down, but they got cut off and blended in with the white fabric unnaturally. We can see her dress better here: https://kisskh.at/photos/rNkREZ_3
Not sure if this was posted already, but a short clip about the music/composer for the show.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0hgu7aR2L8&list=PLMX26aiIvX5q8svyEtXLgKLY-mbhRhXeN&index=3
It has some memorable soundtracks. I love the one played by the composer on the keyboard at 0:46

Hey Sketch! The word boring in the first instance refers to the season 2 trailer. Also, 'boring' is when everyone in this discussion forum shares the same viewpoint. What else is there left to discuss?
The trailer for season 2 does indeed look rather boring. Just a note: LYF season 1 received a very good score on Douban (7.8 from over 400K raters). Judging by the quality of season 1, I expect season 2 will be of the same caliber.
I'm quite surprised to realize that this drama interested me knowing that it's the kind of drama that I often…
I completely agree with you! Each of the main characters brings something valuable to the story. It does not matter who ends up with her because of the strengths they all bring to the table.
Yes, not only is he manipulative, but he's also a compulsive liar. Remember the ease with which he lied in front of HYM's mother, claiming he wasn't interested in a relationship, despite the drama clearly showing otherwise.
