I agree with your observation, it's disheartening to witness the polarization and aggression displayed by this subset of fans. This whole thing is silly and a waste of time.

I have seen the Weibo post mentioned by BlueCandy above. Those are posts by fans, posted on Deng Wei Chaohua. If you google on what Weibo Chaohua (超话) is: 'Chaohua Community is a community provided by Weibo to users that includes discussions and exchanges on celebrities, variety shows, games and other fields of interest.' -The fact that Weibo slapped gag penalty on both DW and YZ fan accounts, suggests that it's time to move on.

-We are both entitled to our own opinions. -Yes, for a straightforward and verifiable fact, a single credible source may suffice. However we're dealing with 2 parties here, where differing perspectives exist.
oh i can't like the photo... hmmmtry again later haha
same here, I can't like the photo, or any other photos on MDL. This is the message that pop up: Something went wrong on our end. Please try again later or open a support ticket.
Wow we have people in this year who still believe in YXH accounts fake rumors...For real? Unfortunately, Fanwars…
I don't believe that Deng Wei, or any actors, would instigate an attack against another fellow actor. Fan-wars, fueled by fervent supporters, would expose actors to unwarranted scrutiny and criticism. I was curious about how this fan war would impact the number of DW's fans, given that he has around 5 million fans. I noticed last week that his fans count appeared to be stuck at a certain number, and it wasn't until he concluded his latest drama and secured a new brand endorsement that the fans count began to steadily increasing again. This observation reaffirms my belief, that fan-wars are never beneficial for an actor, thus it's inconceivable that any actor would deliberately instigate one. Also, as a reminder, a single source of information cannot be treated as an indisputable fact. 😂

Someone is expecting a reply, here's one: .. Methinks, to assail with venomous tongues those who harbor dissimilar musings on characters within our drama, doth sow discord. Let not the specter of rancor obscure the light of understanding, for in the tapestry of narrative, each thread weaves a unique tale. Pray, let us comport ourselves with grace, wherein differing viewpoints be not daggers hurled, but facets of a gem that doth sparkle in multifarious brilliance. Aye, to embrace the diversity of view is to revel in the grandeur of this intellectual banquet. Verily, in this forum of dramatic contemplation, let us not be warring factions, but players upon a shared stage. 'Tis but my humble two cents, cast into the vast expanse of discourse...

Wow, I don't have time for this back and forth. In my view, the novel concludes fittingly. I watched the drama first before reading the novel. I like Xiang Liu character in the novel the most (that doesn't mean that I hate Jing character in the novel 😊). In the drama adaptation, I like Jing's character portrayal, It's the actor's interpretation that sticks with me. I get that others might see it differently, and that's cool with me. At the same time, just 'cause others see Jing differently, it won't change how I see him. Now, let's enjoy other dramas, while waiting on season 2 to air, cheers!

Hi Winny 😊 Different people may interpret that interview or the novel differently. Interpreting a work of literature is a subjective process, and there isn't necessarily a "wrong" way to interpret it. It's not a matter of reading comprehension. Btw, if you search for antonyms of the word 'tragedy' using Natural Language Processing library in python, one of the words that comes up is 'comedy' !!
All main gets what they want most. So yes :) . A helpfull link to author's point of view: https://kisskh.at/discussions/lost-you-forever/108613-the-author-s-interview-where-she-cleared-many-confusion…
Thanks for the link, @Symbolika1! I can't expand the twitter link from the original poster, but what you posted in the thread (the screenshots and translation) are very helpful.
is there a happy ending or is this one of those dramas that will be told in 2 seasons because of stupid laws
The first season concluded with Xiao Yao helping Cang Xuan ascend to the throne and Feng Long proposing to Xiao Yao. There is no word on when Season 2 will air (like you said, blame the stupid law!). As for the ending, this is what Tong Hua (the writer) said in response to a question from an interviewer. (The response she gave kind of gave away each character's ending.) Q: Many readers said after reading the book that "long lovesickness is heartbreaking". In your opinion, is this a work with tragedy at its core? Tonghua: I don’t think it’s a tragedy, because everyone got what they wanted and realized what they wanted most. For example, the male protagonist Qianxuan hopes to be safe and protect himself and his family, and he does it. Xiang Liu was loyal and righteous and died on the battlefield. Tu Shanjing hopes to be with Xiaotian, and Xiaotian hopes to have someone to accompany him and never leave her... As for those things that cannot be obtained, life is not perfect, and it is not easy to get what you want most.

Thank you for the information and the link to the page where windiaaa041293 posted that Baidu page. I don't want to download anything from that page, and it's quite a challenge combing through pages to find liddi's translation, as I mostly don't align with YaoLiu fan's perspective. 😉

A little off topic, a recent drama that I watched, A Journey To Love, also had leaked script that turned out to be mostly correct. It seems that it is more common than you'd like to think. Do you have a link to the leaked script for Lost You Forever Season 2, AH?
came back here because i just remembered that all the episodes are out now, thankfully i was busy so i can binge…
Just watch up to episode 34 if you don't like characters' deaths. They died one by one from ep 35 till the end. I was left with a heavy feeling after finishing the last ep, but I took comfort in knowing that their deaths were not in vain, it was in exchange for the greater good. In death, they remain united, free from the pain of separation, mourning, missing each other, and dwelling on the pain of loss.
Gotta make little shit junior and everyone else believe it. So she can continue with her plan and so can NYZ and…
little shit junior and the scooby gang😂😂😂 I don't think the little shit knows. Unless he also feigned the scene in the street where he was crying and clutching his chest.
I know RY isn’t actually dead but the music and the way the scene was played out would almost make you think…
I agree. The production team led viewers to believe that RY is dead. But who helped her, though? Deng Hui or someone else in the Scarlet Guard. On the timing, it must have been after she asked Deng Hui to stab her when they switched her.
