Guys how is it truly? rating is almost 9 is it that GOOD?
As weird as it sounds, What makes it enjoyable is that nothing in this drama is āextraordinary.ā No intricate or wild political plots and scheming. No super intelligent characters that can predict the opponents every move. No unnecessary draggy storylines.
The characters are likable. Good amount of main couple scenes. Plot moves along without spending too much time on a problem.
Wei Shao and his grandmother spoil the cousin too much. He lashed out more at Manman than he did at his cousin…
Ironic but thatās exactly why WY is mad at them..theyāre always excusing his behaviorš¤£ I think thatās why heās such a flirt/drunk/makes a bad reputation for himself to provoke them into being mad at him

He has good insight. His speech about Wei Mansion being XQās cage and no one able to see the pain in her heart was on point. I think WY can relate. Although grandma and WS love them, WY and XQ are both from families the Weiās absolutely hate. Definitely several internal emotional conflicts there that makes for a Great character. Iād watch a spinoff drama featuring him. Lol

Donāt pay too much attention to the hate. Honestly, a lot of actors get hate comments. The āgood lookingā ones get criticized for having poor acting skills. Because LYN is a good actor, he gets hate for his looks, even though heās not ugly. As long as heās being cast, Iāll keep watching his dramas

I can see WY progression with falling in love with XQ. Itās just that his hate for the Qiao family is still stronger than his crush for her right now at ep 20. Maybe itās like 50/50 hate/love at this time point. Unlike the difficulties that XQ and WS have, which always bring them closer together, WY is slowly realizing how much XQ devotes and cares for his cousin and the Wei People. (Our girl has the biggest heart!) Also, sheās probably the only girl whoās ever rejected him (a playboy) to remain loyal to his cousin (a bonehead with woman).
As for WS, he probably didnāt take WY crush seriously. He knows WY likes beautiful woman and XQ is very beautiful. Also, WY even admitted to not really liking her, just trying to mess with both of them. I think when the time comes, WS will probably realize that his cousin has actually fallen IN LOVE with XQ.
