That bothered me, too! From what I understand, in the novels they are actually twins, which would make more sense…
Ah, Google was wrong again lol

OK, major shout outs to First and Joong this episode from me. That near instantaneous emotional switch from First when he said he'll handle it before going to be a caddy spy was phenomenal. And Joong! Those tears! Can we all collectively give Fadel a group hug, please? I'm enjoying this show a lot. It's campy as hell and largely ridiculous, but it works and I love it lol

That bothered me, too! From what I understand, in the novels they are actually twins, which would make more sense…
I got curious after Googling it, and Thai New Year is Songkran (the water festival), which takes place the first full moon of April, so it's not always the same date every year. Thailand uses a lunisolar Buddhist calendar, so that's why it's not the same as western cultures - and why they use different years than we do (it's the year 2565 in Thailand!). Though, from my understanding, they do still celebrate January 1st as New Years as well.
And yes, fraternal twins would have made more sense. When I heard they were actually twins in the novel, I questioned why they didn't keep that aspect in the show. I'm curious to see if they do anything particular about it other than the one small part about Faifah's birthday and the gift Gun gave Yotha. If not, why change it...?

Yotha and Faifa. Yotha is the older one. They were both born in the same year. Yotha's birthday is April, 8th.…
That bothered me, too! From what I understand, in the novels they are actually twins, which would make more sense than the math they've given us in the show lol. But according to Google, Thai new Year is indeed in April, so maybe it's just a cultural thing lol. 🤷

Aouboom are very famous more than ForceBook and PerthSanta but why gmm always give them secondary couple role?…
I'm curious what your metric for "more famous" is. Perth has more acting credits then Force, Book, Aou, Boom, and Santa. To me, that would constitute more famous than the others. He's also been under more than one label, as has Santa, so there are different (and likely more) people who know them than the others. I eagerly await an AouBoom series with them in the lead roles, but Aou is also now part of Project JASP.per which may lead to less ability for a lead role, unfortunately. To me, Santa absolutely deserves this role - he's killing it. You don't have to like PerthSanta or ForceBook, but that doesn't mean they are less deserving than anyone else.

I have so many feelings about episode 11 and I need to get it off my chest. Teerak's dad this episode was horrible…
Oooh, I love your tirade lol. Apparently dad has a back story in the novel that explains his reaction, but I haven't read it so I'm just taking other people's word for it. I still don't think it justifies it, though. I was more surprised the grandfather didn't stand up to the dad - like, wouldn't the grandfather have a say over the dad since he is the elder? Why was grandpa so damn quiet? Speak up, man!

Some thoughts about Ep. 11:1. In the part where Teerak's mom found out about his relationship, I could see she…
I think the main reason Rak didn't cry or shed tears is because he was already afraid it would be like that. It was an exhausted resignation to accepting his fear coming to fruition. He even said earlier in the episode his father is very strict - which I don't think they showed enough of for the audience to truly understand why Rak was so scared to introduce Fah. I mean, neither Rak nor Babe went to their parents about Oh stalking and bothering Rak for so long, so obviously the "perfect family" image was not accurate if their kids aren't comfortable to confide in them about something so serious. I haven't read the novel, so I have no background on the family dynamics besides the show, but I feel like they should have had just a few scenes where we saw their father being a bit of a tyrant so we as an audience understood better.

Seeing Rak sad and hurt was crushing. This episode more than any other convinced me 100% of Kong's acting ability. I've enjoyed him previously and thought he was adorable, but this solidified everything. And while I (sort of) understand the sentiment of "disappointment," it grates on me when it is used in this context. Being scared for your child makes complete sense. Feeling disappointment in who they love because of gender (or religion or whatever) does not.

While what Newton said to Yotha was correct, it caused Yotha to doubt which then led to Yotha hurting Gun even more. *le sigh* Yotha's fear is so deep, he just can't seem to see past it. At least with the preview for next week it seems like he's gonna take a leap 🙏🤞 I need Gun to be happy again 😭

1. North and his mom are the cutest ever. The way he kind of squats down to hug her since she's so much shorter is absolutely adorable.
2. North getting possessive while drunk and just climbing onto Johan's lap was hilarious and I could watch an entire episode of North claiming Johan as his while Johan smiles.
3. I'm glad that in the end Ter was good with his whole family. Earth finally gets supportive parents!
4. Tonfah and Typhoon made my heart ache. I eagerly await their story and am sad I have to wait so long before it will air.
5. It took me waaaayyyyy too long to realize the reason why Phoon takes pictures of the sky only is because Tonfah means sky in Thai. He's literally taking pictures of his love without taking pictures of his love 😭

I personally enjoyed both couples equally. I don't understand why most liked JohanNorth so much more.
I enjoyed both, but I think Johan and North just kind of overshadowed Hill and Ter. Their story was just more compelling so people felt more drawn to them. I think if we had a series of just Hill and Ter people wouldn't have hated on them so much.

Not defending yotha but Faifah pissed me off when he said yotha doesn't care for gun. It's yotha who is adjusting…
I don't completely disagree, but I felt like the reason Fah and the others wouldn't let Yotha around Gun was more because Gun himself didn't want to be around Yotha. What happened shocked and hurt Gun deeply, and he's normally such a ray of sunshine that if I was his friend, I would have rallied around to protect him first as well. I can also see Fah doing it in an attempt to knock some sense into Yotha - Yotha has been in such a dark place for so long, he needs something to shake him out of it. Making him realize his own feelings for Gun is going to be the only way for him to make a change in himself. Is it the best way to go about it? Probs not.

Also, genuine question, where did you get the info of the reason Fah was chosen by their mother to live with her was because Fah was closer to her than the others? She seems like the worst of the lot to me - didn't know Fah had a dairy allergy, sent Fah back when she started a new family, left Newton and Yotha behind and split up the siblings. Was it in the show somewhere and I missed it, or have you read the novel?

So because I watched the fast track episodes, I realized the cut version on YouTube is lacking. I am rewatching the uncut version, and my gawd, it just makes more sense. Why the eff did they cut it? There's more North with Johan, but also more North with Nao and Suea, the backsotry of Hill and Ter *actually* makes sense, why Christmas says "if not for me" when she and Ter finally speak again. Just, ugh. And looking at the lengths of the cut vs uncut episodes, with all the cut scenes added back in, it's basically a whole damn episode.

So this episode is lingering with me, and I just had a *crazy* theory pop into my head... What if Wine is Klao's younger brother? Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue in Klao's brain if his brother fell for Yotha's brother? Or for poor Wine who would likely not know any of this? Or poor Faifah who's already hooked but dealing with so much on the family end? I haven't read the novel or anything, so I'm likely horribly wrong lol, but I figured I'd share my brain's weird antics with others 😅

i need spoilerwill yotha remove those binary digits from his torso? does his also spell out warich?and will yotha…
I don't have spoilers, but I'm nerd enough that I researched Yotha's tattoo numbers. It spells out "1403," which is the angel number that is supposed to mean "I love you." According to Google at least lol.

So much to unpack in this episode. By far my favourite ep so far. Gun is such a sweetheart. I know people like…
I thought the same about Wa and Klao. Like, seriously, you never took the time to explain why you feel the need to be around your ex when your current partner is so obviously jealous! That's just cruel, really.

And, yes! Faifah is quickly becoming a favorite among the group. I can't wait for more back story for both him and Yotha and to see them both be able to heal.

Explain
It's a play on the word tempo. Since it's about an idol group and so heavily music based, having their names sound like a music related term is quite clever.
