Right? EP18 ending scene was so good like Han Yan going after her father, him appearing covered with blood, Yun Xi slowly revealing himself and the door closing slowly with Han Yan’s father giving us a devil smile was WOWW!!!! EP19 was also unexpected! And yes, the OST and the instrumental in this drama are so good!!! Make the scenes even better!
If it was me. I would become like a mouse and escape. Yah, this is one of those scripts that it is overwhelming…
Oh if it was me I would be so lost and probably would have a mental breakdown. Han Yan is really strong mentally, maybe because she already lived a life with fear and traumatic experiences when she was younger but yeah, in real life a person like her would probably need a good therapy.
In the drama I believe she will probably have a good and happy life later as her propose now is revenge, which we know she will get and have a home/family, which she probably will have too as she will marry with Yun Xi.
It’s crazy how every episode in this drama gets me speechless like EP18 & 19 were insane omg so many plot twists and things happening. Han Yan’s mom death scene was so sad 😞 She didn’t die in the beginning to die anyway later. But I kind agree with what Yun Xi said, at least she recovered and felt loved again.
EP19 final scene was craaaazy. Han Yan’s brother had what he deserved but poor Han Yan, she’s going to have the most traumatic marriage moment ever. I’m happy to see that at least it seems like she and Yun Xi will be in good terms and help each other. I’m kind curious to see how the romance between them will unfold tho because we only have 10 episodes and now things are even dark and messy than before.
NOOOOOOOO the marriage proposal went all wrong, I’m pissed 💔 Han Yan was definitely thinking Yun Xi would say he liked her but instead he talked about how both could benefit with the marriage, basically like a contract marriage. But tbh I can’t 100% blame him here. Yes, he could be more truthful to his feelings but after the festival she said she is not looking for love and romance in marriage and instead she wanted a marriage where she could live well, be free and not suffer. How could he know that she liked him and was looking for him to propose romantically? But ugh I’m frustrated because after seeing the previews for episode 17 & 18, things between them will be bad 😫
But I’m happy for her mother tho! Hope she can really recover.
YESSS episode 15 giving me Han Yan and her mother being supportive with each other and cunning together, love it! Also, I wasn’t expecting that little kiss between Han Yan and Yun Xi but thank you very much!!

ML’s acting is becoming a topic and I do think he could be better with his face expressions but tbh I’m not that much bothered by his acting. It could be better? Definitely. But it’s not this bad for me and I’m more invested in other’s characters story for now. I’m also liking his chemistry with FL too so…
OMG more intense episodes…I cried a lot on EP14. Han Yan’s attitude about saving her mom and family can be controversial, especially because her mom wanted to end it all and her dad’s concubine and sister/brother are horrible people but to save her mom she needed to save everyone too and although she knows her mom’s mind, I think it’s understandable that she doesn’t want her mother to die. She knows she’s being selfish about all of this but she can help it and I think it’s understandable. Of course, this could end really bad and her mother could never forgive her and be even more depressed but luckily she and her mother finally worked out things between them (in a scene I cried a lot omg).
I’m even more interested in her father’s story now because he has this good persona vibes when in fact he’s not so good and maybe even worse than what we can imagine. And also, seeing the previews for the next episodes, it seems like we’re going to have more scenes with the main leads together SOO EXCITED
OMFG I CANNOT BREATH!!!!!! EP10 was really intense! What was that scene when Yun Xi softly touched Han Yan’s scars??? I’m OBSESSED!!! The dialogue between them, the chemistry, the OST…..it was perfection. I’m completely obsessed with this drama right now now! The acting is really good, the story is really captivating and both main leads have great chemistry. I’m dying to see them as a couple.
Also, Han Yan and Chai Jing bond is really touching. Both of them would do anything to save the other 😠I was afraid Chai Jing would die but thankfully she didn’t.
Ru Yi is a nasty bitch omg. The scene when she said to Han Yan that Chai Jing died was so nerve wrecking and Chen Du Ling acting was amazing there!
I kind wanted YeongBeom and GeumMyeong together :( I thought they would work things out and she would marry the rich (but also sweet) guy but I understand the writer wanted to be more realistic. YeongBeom’s mom probably wouldn’t change (as she didn’t) and it didn’t seem like he would be strong enough to be apart from her and to be against her. I also don’t know if GeumMyeong would want that for him. To be apart from his mother. In the end it was really unfair for both of them and such a shame as they really like each other but yeah 😠I don’t know how to feel about she ending up with Seonho’s character tho.
I must say I’m really liking this drama in general. The characters, the bond and connection they have with each other are beautiful and well done and the acting is being amazing so far too.
So, I just finished EP4 and I’m kind enjoying so far! I’m loving Gayoung’s character, she matched the character vibes really well! I also liked the secondary characters. Hyun Wook’s character is a little annoying in some moments but he’s not a hateful character and we understand more what he went through later. Now…I’m not sure if I’m liking his acting here. I usually like him as an actor and I liked his previous works but sometimes I have the feeling like his acting here it’s not natural and it’s a little off.
Regardless, this is a romcom and his chemistry with Gayoung is convincing enough for me and as I’m enjoying in general I’ll continue!
EP24 was everything omg what was that kiss????? I DIED! And they doing skin care together 😔 couple goals. I’m enjoying this couple so much that I don’t want to end
