I like it! Episode 1 was a bit slow in some parts but the pace gets better later. Amazing performance by Bogum like always, his character is so lovable and amazing! And IU is also good as always too! Her character captivates us in each episode. I like how we see different perspectives of life from each female character. Iām kind curious to see what will happen in the next episodes tho because right now 16 episodes is looking too much for me, maybe 10/12 would be better? But well letās see!
Ahā¦.to be in love like them <3 EP19 & EP20 were so cozy, sweet, romanticā¦.I loved! Iām also loving Xifan attitude in these episodes, sheās happy and super confident! The ring scene was such a cute act from her and sheās taking the initiative and most of their kiss like YESSS GO GIRL!!! And omg Dr.He is so perfect like seriously I want this man so bad š Heās sweet and mature and his dating scenes with Xifan is exactly my type like give me this man right now!!!!
Ling He is the epitome of handsome here oh my god sometimes I forget to read the subtitles because Iām too focused on his face. Ruo Han is also so pretty, she reminds of Jennie from Blackpink sometimes. Both of them are a really visual couple.
Talking about the characters, Dr.He is so perfect I cannot, I need a man like him asap š also Iām glad Xifan finally said everything to her ex and she finally can heal now.
And omg finally our main couple dating era will start, Iām so excited <3
Xifanās rejection towards Dr.He confession was definitely frustrating. Likeā¦it wasnāt a misunderstanding you know? I wished she was at least more clearly with him but instead he had to hear about her true feelings from her friend, which I think itās worse.
I understand her reasons to reject him tho, she has some personal issues and trauma but gosh Dr.He treats her so well, she gave him all the signs and then later she pratically throws cold water on him š Nothing is going well for this man.
EP13 was really good! Jaeyiās father is a completely psychopath and I honestly couldnāt care less about Seulgiās father death, he was a pedophile.
Omg??? The production team made a good job here, the cinematography is OUTSTANDING, very beautiful! OST is also good and make the scenes even more beautiful. Iām at EP5 right now and Iām really enjoying so far, itās nice and heartwarming! I like main characters and also secondary characters. Plot is also kind nice as I find chinese medicine a really interesting topic.
EP25 was so fucking cute and funny omg main couple are soooooo cute together I love them so much š unfortunately I canāt say the same about second lead couple. Qi Qi is a little annoying and I just feel an uncomfortable vibe everytime Song Cong is with her. Wish I could enjoy more them because I usually like ārich-poorā couple theme.
Well this one is definitely a classic to remember, although not so much for being perfect. Iām not gonna lie, I kind enjoyed the main couple tho. Both characters are annoying but they had an amazing chemistry, I think it was one of the best chemistry Hyojin had, it was sooo natural and at some point I thought they were dating at real life too. But yeah besides their chemistry together, itās really difficult to like both characters. Male lead is so arrogant and although he gets a little better towards the end, he was still rude and inconsiderate most of the time. Female lead didnāt have any pride in her. Maybe an unpopular opinion but although second male lead was a good person and caring, I found his character with almost 0 charm. Male lead was an ass but he was much more charismatic and charming.
Team work in the kitchen was also a thing that we almost donāt see here. Well, at least not completely and how I wanted to see. The sexism here is craaaazy too.
Regardless, even with the negative things I have to admit that it wasnāt difficult to watch. I was entertained most of the time. But, I do feel like watching this kind of drama when weāre in 2025, itās difficult to swallow and accept the way characters are behaving.

The happy birthday scene in episode 14 was cute and melancholic at the same time. "What's your wish?" - āYou know what my wish is" Like JUST KILL ME ALREADY!!!!! š© but well I hope things get resolved soon, I want this couple to be happy and I want my cute scenes!!!
