people need to understand sad ending doesn’t mean the whole drama is trash
I wasn’t expecting a happy ending for the characters but they basically resolved nothing in this season finale. These new seasons were completely unnecessary tbh
Just watched all 6 episodes and I’m really enjoying!! It’s entertaining, the characters are fun and have good chemistry together. I’m loving Yitong and Yuning here! Both are great actors so it’s easy to enjoy their characters. Their chemistry is also very good, don’t feel forced at all and omg I laughed a lot watching their scenes. I’m excited to see them falling in love.
PS: Yuning is so hot when he’s Shi Liu, the costume is 10/10
OMG just finished episode 1 and this is better than I thought! It’s like The Romance of Tiger and Rose and Love Game in Eastern Fantasy had a child 😂 I loved Yitong’s character personality, she’s also sooo pretty and Yuning is so hot here. I’m excited to see more of their chemistry and how the story will unfold!
So my theory about Jinrui being the father of Bei Yu’s child was right but omg the family is totally old fashioned and misogynist, it pissed me off sooo much!!! And after seeing the way the whole family treats women I kind understand why Qing Yu’s mom thinks her way of dealing things is the only one right, although she still annoys me. The father is totally useless 🙄 Excited for tomorrow’s episode!!!
Well…I knew that not everyone would like this drama so I’m not surprised by some comments here. The poster is kind misleading and the production team promoted the couple in a cute way, probably that’s why some people expected something lighter or thought romance would be 100% strong but reading the synopsis and watching the trailer I already knew that it wasn’t going to be a fluffy drama. I think it’s fine that people are not liking tho…it’s definitely not going to be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m really liking so far! Jing Yi and Yiran have a good chemistry and the plot is intriguing!

Oh my god…I’m obsessed!!! I decided to watch this drama after so many good reviews and I can definitely understand the hype and why so many liked…it’s REALLY GOOD!!! The story is great, I was speechless how everything is well connected. Main leads are SO beautiful like I was mesmerized by their beauty! The makeup and costume here were really beautiful too and the scenery was exceptional. OST was also sooo amazing, so many good songs, I’m addicted until now!
I also liked the characters! The main ones and the secondary ones were really good, I think most of them had some depth. If I have to pick a favorite tho, it would be Fan Yue because he’s exactly the type of character I love so I instantly loved him, he also gets even better in each episode. Always doing everything to protect everyone he loves, especially our female lead. But I really liked all of them! Fu Ling and Tian Huo were both interesting characters, they really shined for me! And Bai Shuo is exactly the type of female lead that I usually like so it was easy to root for her.
Fan Yue and Bai Shuo chemistry was also really good! They had a lot of beautiful scenes and omg I cried so much in the last episodes. Actually cry is a thing I did a lot here because omg at certain point it was practically a battle to see who suffers more. The acting was also good! Bai Lu was amazing as always. Never watched anything with Ao Rui Peng but he did a good job here, really convincing, especially in the emotional scenes! Dai Lu Wa was also amazing as Fu Ning!
The ending wasn’t exactly 10/10 for me but at least I had what I wanted the most haha In general I really recommend this one! I think it’s going to be difficult to forget the experience I had watching this and for now is my favorite xianxia of the year! Still thinking about the score I’ll give for the drama in general but definitely between 9.5 and 10!
I decided to watch this one because it had good reviews and it didn’t disappointed me! The story is interesting and really enjoyable! It’s also funny, cute and the characters are sooo good…all them are charming, charismatic and likeable. I loved all couples formed and the bound between the sisters is definitely one of the best things here!
I don’t remember watching anything with the main actors before but both FL and ML captivated me as actors and had nice characters! Ah, I must say that although main couple had really funny and cute scenes together, the secondary couple almost stole the scene for me haha but in general I liked all couples formed.
I think the only thing I didn’t like was the ending but in general it was a good drama and I definitely recommend if you want something easy to watch with good story and characters!
Gosh….EP32 to EP36 were a hell of a ride. We had cute moments, funny moments, hot moments between the couple, sad and tragic moments….it happened so many things that I couldn’t take my eyes of the screen. I think the last two episodes were a little rushed tho and some scenes were a bit forced but I ignored for the sake of the story haha Nevertheless it was a good ending and a great drama in general.
I’ve always liked Liu Yu Ning and he did a great job here like always. Song Zu Er also captivated me A LOT. She shined so so much and her character was so good and so likeable! The chemistry between both leads were amaaaazing too!!! Secondary characters also shined here a lot and I enjoyed the acting of most of them.
Now that it’s finished I can definitely say that it’s one of the best dramas of the year, at least for me, and I definitely recommend!
Just finished and I liked this season, to me it was worthy the wait! Jihoon once again gave us an amazing performance. We didn’t have the same impactful scene as the ending of EP8 in season 1 when Si Eun cried after everything that happened but his acting was still good! He’s so natural in this character, it was made for him.
Lee Jun Young as a villain was also really good, which I expected already because I love his acting and he’s a master in this type of character. I really hope he gets more popular later, he deserves. Baek Jin’s actor also did a very good job as a villain! It’s difficult to shine in a psychopath character when Jun Young is in the same drama but he did great.
About Si Eun’s new friends, altough Baku have a much more focus in the story, I liked Hyeon Tak and Jun Tae more as characters. It was a great duo and Jun Tae is sooo cute! Baku is interesting but he was a little annoying for me in the beginning. He captivated me more later tho, especially in his scenes with Baek Jin. It was a great chemistry. In general I liked the dinamic between the characters and their friendship. It was really important for Si Eun to have new friends and to not be alone.
The fighting scenes were good for me too! If I had to pick a favorite would be the one with Jihoon and Jun Young (I might be biased haha). We also had some memorable and emotional moments too, especially between Si Eun and Su Ho and the one between Si Eun and BeomSeok (when Si Eun was in the hospital).
The last episode gave me the feeling that we might have a 3rd season…but I don’t know if we have enough material for that, it might be something complety new. Nevertheless, I liked this season and I will definitely be watching if they do another one.
PS: I’m soooo happy about Su Ho being alive (I think they changed this because in the novel he was dead right?). If we get another season later, it would be great to see Si Eun, Baku, Jun Tae, Hyeon Tak AND Su Ho being a squad. Also, I think I have to point out: I never read the novel so all opinions here is based only in what I saw in the drama!
I just binged the last episodes and omg what a ride. For me this drama was really good! EP19-23 were a bit draggy but then fortunately after EP24 it got better again and the last episodes were really good! This is a kind of drama that it’s mainly focus on the revenge part with really dramatic and dark scenes so it’s definitely not for everyone. Also, we see “romance” in the tags but it’s only an appetizer here, which I can’t lie, I was a bit disappointed by. But in general this is a female centric drama, which I also loooove so still was a good watch for me! The plot here is really captivating, the characters were amazing (especially the female characters), the chemistry between the main leads were good and each episode was a roller coaster.
I’m completely in love with Du Ling as an actress, she was amazing here so I’ll definitely wait for her next projects! Also I’m already expecting more dramas of this writer because I loved “The Double” last year and this year he gave us “The Glory” who was also amazing for me so I’m excited for his next projects as well!
