Lol…I thought that was just her saying it to save face too since XCS and TXM are together cause it caught YGH off guard.

I think they’ve always been jealous of him but they never outright expressed it. Despite his circumstances XCS had always been able to make friends and deep impressions with people due o his nature. Their jealousy more becomes more apparent as they grow in their careers and in life. YGH and XCS will always have the issue of HHL between them and it looks like CHJ will start having issues with YF since she’s close to TXM. With YF’s personality, she’s probably making comparisons. XCS and TXM’s relationship is probably going to be envious by others since they’ll overcome their obstacles and be successful because they’re both willing o sacrifice for each other and wait for each other. Thank goodness TXM was straight forward with her parents about YGH and cut that off before it went any further with the parents cause there would have been even more drama.

I like XZ too and he’s proven to many with this role that he’s not just the typical traffic actor. I think that’s the challenge that most traffic artists have is that they get type cast and sometime restrained by their agencies from exploring different roles to develop their versatility and range since these agencies are trying to make as much $$ off of them as possible while their popularity is high.

Lol…she’s channeling the strength of all her costume drama characters.

Lol…it’s too much $$ to subscribe to them all at full price so I jump at the chance when there’s big sales. Sometimes it’s the only way to watch something when Viki doesn’t get the licensing in time if they’re able to get it at all. Lately, some of the shows don’t go on Viki until it’s ended.

Lol…I subscribed to the Tencent app for that reason too and was able to catch one of their VIP membership sales…50% off right now. I keep Viki mostly for K-dramas and J-dramas now. I subscribed to iQiyi and YouKu VIP memberships when they had the New Year’s sale.

With HHL, it was a youthful love that never got to fully develop. They did stuff together but never fully went through life tribulations together since they were separated when she joined the army first and then every time she needed help, she depended on YGH. It was never going to work because if XCS couldn’t make anything of himself, there would always be a 3rd party in their lives.

I saw that the director said TXM is a hard character to play because it’s easy to be expressive when you have lines in a script but it’s hard when your character has to show most of her thoughts and feelings through facial expressions and eye acting because they’re demure due to the character’s personality or character’s position in the life of the drama (i.e. FL in Red Sleeve Kdrama). And LQ was praised for being able to portray TXM so well because of that difficulty.

Yes…Tears in Heaven was what made up for them not being together in Princess Agents.

I was SMH watching that part of the preview…like did she really want him to just pine for her and not move on with his life. Also, regarding the break-up…XCS just put into words what she couldn’t bring herself to say cause when he couldn’t promise her he’d walk again and asked her to wait for him, that look on her face and her reaction said it all. She also admitted in her conversation with YGH in the theater that she didn’t have the courage to put someone’s life on her shoulders which to me means she doesn’t want to be in a true relationship where the couple relies on each other through good and bad times, where sometimes one person may have to pull more weight than the other through times of hardship. When she wanted XCS to take the military clerk position in ep20, it’s like she wanted her cake and eat it too…she wanted XCS’s love but YGH’s connections. I don’t fault her for feeling that way after how she grew up but don’t expect others to be at your whim when you can’t do the same for them.

HHL’s behavior in ep27/28 previews, you can tell she’s all about herself. Don’t know if it was her mother’s words/experiences along with QT’s indulgence, but she had learned to low key use people. It was obvious in previous episodes but now YGH is finally feeling it.

Love XCS/TXM and can’t wait to see more of their interactions, their supportive encouragement for each other. They have had a bumpy road trying to reach their dreams and have grown to realize that sometimes your dreams can still be met through other avenues. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

Yeah…it was reassuring for TXM to hear that after HHL’s little stunt at the ice rink.

I love her in those dramas as well as Song of Glory.

Yes, the ship was ready to set sail before that but the captain was distracted and now he woke up in ep 24 🤣

They really are like 2 parallel lines and I think it’s mostly because in public, HHL wants to be unattached since they haven’t achieved their goals yet and to possibly leave herself room o make choices if things didn’t look like they would work out.

Just saw this clip where that picture came from. Also realized that XCS is wearing the same outfit as when he was hugging TXM. He’s got his real love and HHL is the past.

I feel like you can see he’s developing feelings in this clip. She’s his strength and he’ll try harder to recover to show his gratitude for all she’s done so that her efforts won’t go to waste. But XCS isn’t the type of person to be with someone out of gratitude. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s episodes.
