I can't understand Seon Hwa, really in the first few episodes she is too clingy and for someone as strong as her, I just could not get her sometimes... The guy told you he was done with you, why can't you move on. And the mother in law, SERIOUSLY, how can you encourage this kind of S**** and abuse the mother of your grand-son. I'm on ep 8 and I am sooo mad!! I think it's only going to get worse but I need to see the revenge part..
And the gall to ask for mink fur, hermes bag, etc...
Depends if you like historical dramas with a touch of fantasy, action, mystery , comedy and romance. Some things are definitely fantasy but it is actually not bad. I feel like the supporting cast did a good job here and most importantly in my book the FL is not a fool, but is actually smart and strategic. It is not a production like Yantzi Palace, but it is along the lines of The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion.
Love the scene on ep 30 when ZZ heard " his wife" had battled and saved the war prisoners that the Beiqi people took. LOL his face was too funny.. And when he confronted her and saw it was JJL...
I am actually enjoying this show quite a bit... Goes to show you that because someone doesn't like a show, doesn't mean someone else will not enjoy it.

For dramas if the reviews do not resonate with what I like to watch, there are so many other reviewers that I like and whose opinions I respect and so I do not waste my precious time on things that do not serve my purpose.
Actually just watched the first 6 episodes and this drama is not bad. Comparing it some others that I dropped after 3 episodes, the story is actually engaging. I am not sure how I feel about the cast yet. But at least the FL is not a simpering/annoying female. I actually stopped watching AvenueX's reviews when I realized her and I do not enjoy dramas the same way, so I prefer to watch the first few episodes and if the story hooks me then I continue watching.
Help! I still cant move on. Recommend me drama that you think is better or atleast at par with this imperfectly…
I am rewatching one of my favorite Korean dramas right now Family's Honor. However, here are some less mentioned Chinese dramas that were good:

30 episodes in and I am done!! Loved this series so much! Will rewatch it a few times. I liked the book better, it had a cuter ending too. But at the same time I thought that Bai Lu and RJL did an overall good job. Could it have been better, yes there were a few things that could have been better, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I have to say I would not mind another sequel for Mei Xing. He was too sad, but then again Karma is a B****. The most poignant episodes for me were 28-29, I think RJL's acting was on point.
Recap ep - 23-28 -********** MAJOR SPOILER ************** Love the couple hoodies that SY and ZSC wear. Our couple is finally settled in married life and we see ZSC taking the initiative. Definitely less reserved. He is very proud of SY's achievements. Wen Xing death really hit ZSC and we see a very strong and introvert ZSC go through bereavement. Poor Mei Xing I cried with him.. He really played that role beautifully... Grandma Qin poor thing has dementia, but she still bring us some laughs and she has her clear mind days. Xiao Ren was so heartbroken, I loved when he insisted on visiting SY and ZSC more often and ZSC putting his foot down. Wen Chuan is definitely less evil in this drama version and we don't see the guns like in the book. I actually felt bad for Tong Jiaren and Wang Man in the end. And then the incident happen and poor ZSC my heart broke with him, you can see how sad and hopeless he is in the end of ep 28 after SY's family refused that he sees her while she is in coma. And the fact that he made his bag and refused the Zhou transportation to me it's like he is disowning them. So so sad...
