Agree, I actually loved all of today's episodes. ZSC and SY have a very healthy if not a tad old fashioned relationship. They understand each other more than we understand them and their idiosyncrasies. Besides for the "kiss factor" I liked what I saw and it was very closely what happened in the novel. So I for one will keep watching.
Ok, so I have watched to episode 22 now and boy oh boy do I have something to say. In the last 5 episodes I've seen ZSC being more invested and loving in the relationship. Yes SY is the one carrying the relationship but I kind of understand why she would like someone like ZSC. 1_ You tend to marry a man that resembles your father 2_ She is already independent and obviously has earned some money so she is not looking for a man to be too macho or support her. 3_ She sort of remembers the past through her dreams
Now , I was a little let down by the intimate scenes, but I can live with that. I am still enjoying the drama as is. Is it a 10? No, but for Bai Lu's acting I give it a 9.5. She really carried this drama. Allen Ren is a good actor but I just wished the production would have given him a better setting. He is not shining here like in One and Only.

You should not be hated if it's the truth. I totally agree. The intimacy is there but... something is missing. I mean how difficult is it to touch lips with someone, even getting closer and smelling her neck would bring it to another level of intimacy without the actual kiss.

If that is the case they should have changed the actor... Because the next 15 episodes are about their growth as a couple from fumbling virgins to a real married couple. Not that I expect much in terms of visual but at least some real mouths touching. Not some shadow puppetry or 2 birds kissing like in TLB. Allen Ren should only play in historical dramas then, which is really limiting him as an actor, like SY likes to say : What a pity!
