I agree with the burden part. And yes when there is money involved people turn ugly. But in the novel ZSC wants to give the control to Ren eventually, it has not been said yet in the drama.

What about the people. You need to give them a place to Iive since they are relatives. My mother actually has it in her will that the ancestral home can never be sold. I would not auction off anything, most of those things are invaluable because of the craftsmanship. And the jewelry and other goods would cost way more money today. This is a legacy no money can replace. Plus if you were to inherit that kind of ancestral home you would also have money so you don't need to sell anything. That is why rich people teach their children money management at a young age and protect their wealth via trusts and other vehicles so that the children will always have money and noone can touch it including spouses or other entities.

Actually, in this lifetime I would not have minded if SY ended up with Mei Xing either! The casting agent made a joke of us, with the BonBon MX! But all SY literally sees is ZSC it's really eerie because ZSC is surrounded by better looking men. And the interaction between MX and SY is very cool, not even a spark on her side. I mean even ZSC question her motives, Why him?

What I liked about episode 15-22:

1- The next day scene in Wuzhen : so classy, so beautiful, so intimate
2-How Zhousheng Ren is so nice with SY and wants her in his family. Sorry ZSC but you only have him, your Grandma, Mei Xing and the Lin's, and SY of course everyone else not worth it.
3- Shi Yi uncovering ZSC, OMG that scene cracks me up... LMAO
4- ZSC jealous of Wang YingDong. Seriously that guy is starting to give me the creeps. Can you understand she is married already!
5- ZSC does not concern himself with money to the point were people think he is broke, And the nerd does not get it. I feel like somethings just fly over his head like the hint she gave him when she was wearing the beautiful lingerie and him coming to the bed and saying " I am ready" ! If it's me I would have said ready for what? Are we running a Marathon? LMAO
6- The sleepover !!! Aah , I was dying with Ren scared of the movie and holding SY's hand, and the scream that scared ZSC!! Oh Men
7- The security guard that thinks ZSC is a bum living off SY and the gardener!! LOL, I am waiting for him to ask SY about her husband. That should be fun...

My apologies if that is the case. Btw, I am not trying to excuse RJL, I actually do not follow specific actors and only watch dramas for their entertainment value. I read this novel back in 2017 when it was being translated by Hoju at hui3r and really liked it and I was anxiously waiting for it to be made into a drama. However, in my opinion not one person is responsible for the success or failure of a particular drama. It is an ensemble of factors that determine the success of a work like this and that is the point I was trying to make above. I find that in OnO, the cast, directing, script and production were very well coordinated, and you can see the difference between an experienced Director and one who is not as experienced, the result is that you have a great drama. And even then many people complained in the first 10-12 episodes.

Not at all, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I see that every time someone makes a positive comment about something they like, you bring back the issue of how there are no kisses and kinship and how RJL is not doing a good job. I feel that is discouraging people to watch the show. If I did not know anything about the show I would look at the comments before watching it.
