The 3rd prince is the fairest of all of them. The Crown Prince is too soft and let's everyone get away with murder, no checks and balances. There was a 2nd prince in the book, but not shown here. 5th prince is just a clown.
I just have to say the actress that plays Consort Yue did an excellent job in that scene. Like really. When I was reading this part in the novel, this is exactly how I imagined it.. Also LBY and CSS's hug scene, really Wu Lei and his expressions are the Bomb!!! I really can see the love radiating from his face when he is hugging her before the kiss in the forehead.
"Don't be afraid, I am here".. I personally think CSS needs those 5 years to grow up. Also, her relationship with…
I think. She will be very hurt by LBY's revenge and it's not because of the revenge itself cause she says that she would have done the same. It's more because she understood that by him moving the army and killing the Ling clan he was expecting to die and so forsaking her and their love. And since that was his plan what's the use of being together. She was really heartbroken and swore that she would never fall in love again. So when the queen said she wanted to see her get married before she dies, she asked a couple of the princes forst and they said no. Then YS asked her, when he found out, and so she said yes because neither one was expecting to love the other. They would been friends at least I guess.
The Emperor and Consort Yue are childhood sweethearts and are deeply in love but I think he also loves the Empress.…
Actually, nope, the Emperor cares for the Empress and gives her respect as the mother of his children. He spends time with her as his wife, but he doesn't love her. This is the reason why when she was deposed due to the Crown Prince 's issue they both feel so guilty.
So we’re entering the part where LBY and CSS will have more and more interactions and will realize their deep…
Consort Yue and the Empress reached an agreement. Because Consort Yue knows the emperor loves her, and that he married the Empress for political reasons. Also he is fair with both of them. For example the each gave him the same number of children. He spends as much time with both. Also Consort Yue doesn't want to take center stage..She doesn't need to.
I had to watch the scene a second time to begin to understand (or at least in my own way) the reason for his anger.LBY…
I think it has to do with CSS getting hurt. In the book he told her she can do anything she wants to, except get hurt. If she gets hurt he will take away whatever hurt her or in some cases, get revenge for her... LOL.. Remember he also has his insecurities and traumas. She is his shining light. Case and point when he was exiled, he pretty much stopped living, and went from war to war.
Anticipating the impending separation makes me anxious .... :(
"Don't be afraid, I am here".. I personally think CSS needs those 5 years to grow up. Also, her relationship with YS is the blandest relationship in the history of dramas, like really...
I just want to say. Does she really need to get engaged to Yuan shen. I hate this guy so much.
He is like a stalker. He goes to her house everyday when she is there. He badmouths her outside so other men won't get close to her. Thank God in the palace she is on lockdown and she sees him only when she wants. Also, she only got engaged to him because the queen told her she wanted to see her get married before she dies. So it was the most unromantic proposal.
Any spoilers direct from the novel on the ultimate fate of the 3rd princess?
She is going to be put on lockdown, and is going to lose all the money. LBY is going to get revenge for CSS. And Consort Yue is not very tolerant when it comes down to the reputation of the royal family.
