If you were in place of shaoshang with the info you have figured out on your own reached conclusion who her fiancee…
I feel that we are missing a bit part of the actual story and it's that neither wanted to break up with the other. And CSS made the decision because of a phrase that LBY told her when he went over the cliff.. Had he not been exiled she would have eventually forgiven him. Also when she asked to break the engagement and left the palace she got sooo sick that she almost died, meaning she felt so much despair that she didn't unconsciously wanted to live. I think the dialogue she had with the Queen after when she said " I have no place to go, please let me stay here, so I don't become a charge for my family ", tells the frame of mind she was in. I think both of them made the concious decision to stay alone. But the Queen and the king new that CSS and LBY had not forgotten each other. The Queen asked her to get married so she could see her married before she died, but neither the Queen or the king expected her to get engaged to YS soo quickly and that was also the reason why the king made CSS believe that LBY was going to marry LJT. So imo YS is just a placemat in CSS 's case. She asked YS to break off the engagement within weeks of LBY returning. I understand the reason why she did it, but in reality she had never gotten over LBY and she is not a coward, so it makes sense that she forgave him eventually, it was not immediate, she made him work for it, which I appreciate. And I personally think she needed to grow up a bit, become wiser in order to truly be happy with LBY.
Ep 36 was so good than the evil plan have to ruin my sweet moments. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I know right, that was the worst anti climax ending ever.. Between LJT, her maid and the 5th Princess they ruined what should have been the best episode of part 2
If LBY and LJT got together in the border (even if it was just for show for LBY), why did the emperor allow it…
Not really, he just wants him to be happy. He thinks LBY likes LJT so he supports them together, but when he realises that LBY and CSS stil love each other he doesn't really care for LJT. Although he doesn't like CSS for LBY at the beginning , but then he will like her in the end.
Please can someone spoil me how did the bite mark on their arms come. How was the scene describe like in the novel.…
They made a pact (vow), after Huo Junhua's death, and to seal it since the needed blood they decided to bite each other till they bled. This is important, cause during his absence CSS will use creams to remove the scar. And when LBY returns, LJT is going to visit CSS to get her to ask LBY to marry her, but CSS will say no, but she raises her hand and LJT see the scar and she saw it on LBY because he is always touching it. So LJT is going to tell LBY that CSS 's scar is almost gone... LOL in a fit of jealousy, during Queen Yue's party he is going to get CSS into a room and bite her again.. I think that is the only time he acted like a caveman with CSS. I must say in my book this is so romantic cause he then gets on his knees to ask her to give him another chance.
Ohh, I love this discussion and remember writing something for this in the discussion thread of the first part…
1 - Lantern Festival 2- I think she fell for him gradually not on a specific instance. 3- She realized it when she straighten her thoughts after she kicked him out and spoke with her parents, but she is still fighting it at that point. I don't think she really accepts him until episode 36 when she asked him to hug her.
As I understand from spoilers, in novel she horrible woman, much more worse then all princesses, because she always…
He is not with LJT during those 5 years. He is using her as a cover and ignoring her at the same time. He doesn't plan on getting married ever... She is more like a servant that he allows around him. Because she saved A'Fei. But he knows exactly the kind of snake she is.

I do not think she will have much screen time until LBY returns. And even then, besides the scene were she ambushes CSS with like 100's of militia/thieves/servants near the end, she does serve to bring LBY and CSS together. I think that was the turning point of them getting back together even if CSS does play hard to get even then.
That truly was a very stupid place to end the episode.. I just finished it and like u came here to ease my anger😅
I actually was rereading it in the book, and they changed it, so I am waiting till Tuesday to see if my assumption of her saying she was just helping the 5th prince out of the water cause he fell while drunk...
