I find that the drama followed very closely the book in terms of language, pretty much the same phrases in so many of the scenes. The parts that were changed of course those are different specially at the beginning in part1.

20 episodes to go.... I don't anticipate any heartache until Episode 20... What do you guys think?

Lol, it will be at least 3-4 if they go by the book. Time lapse and getting engaged again 1 episode. Going to YS's home and the drama with YS's family. LBY returning and the palace meeting. LJT going to CSs's home 1 episode . CSS asking to break the engagement, YS going to jail 1 episode Queen Yue's party, death of Consort Xuan, going to Consort Xuan' s hometown and LJT's ambush 1 episode

LBY was exiled because he took the tiger tally and mobilized the army to kill the Ling family who killed his whole clan. He was punished with the exile and at the Queen's suggestion and because CSS asked for it the betrothal was cancel. She felt betrayed because he never explained anything to her and just went off and killed all these people with the intention of dying in the process of getting revenge

And stupid Lou Jitong really are you trying to drink with LBY.... And your maid comes and sets up CSS in front of everyone with the arrangement of the 5th princess . Agreed. CSS doesn't want the empress to suffer. you may say the solution she came up with us terrible, nut like LBY said she is good to those who treat her right and will stop at nothing to get revenge for those who fo her wrong.

I for one think that LBY needs to tell CSS were he stands in rapport to the Crown Prince. The Crown Princess thinks that she can manipulate CSS but she is going to realize soon enough that CSS has a bottom line, and in the Palace her bottom line is LBY and the Queen. I loved the engagement party and how even YS defended CSS. At times I am not sure if Huo Junhua is acting up or if she is really crazy.

Also I agree on your assessment of CSS and LBY, I think having a loving relationship can only come with deeper understanding of each other. And so all this is a prelude for us to see all the things that will bring them together and also break them apart. On the other hand, I also think that CSS is too immature and the 5 year separation is good for her.

Nope, LBY did something to avenge SS, but also they were in a sort of a cold war, and the king decided to punish LBY to see if CSS would soften up. It was a setup of sorts, otherwise how could she stop the beating

Yes , but in the book she didn't get revenge from the 3rd or 5th Princess, it was only the dance troup girls. The Princesses were taken care of by LBY exposing their shady deals and by blaming the 5th Princess for LJT maid's death.

I guess the antifans are working hard on this one..

I don't think A dream of splendor is a 8.1, more like 7.4 and LLTG is a 7.8 at least
