Anyways I hope you live a better life and focus on the things you like, rather than look for things to hate, for me watching dramas is for relaxation and enjoyment, maybe for you it is to criticise and hate :)

Not sure if you watched closely, but she literally only amps up her cuteness in the presence of her good friends, and she is perfectly normal with her boss and her co-workers. And as I've already said, you can have a different opinion but there is no need to insult anyone, clearly you like characters that do not go past your standards of "cringe" and "cuteness" and lack the capacity to "tolerate" anything else, so if you don't like something, leave.

As I already said multiple times, to each their own, you find her annoying and I don't, simple as that, and neither of our opinions are facts so don't call yours one. If you want to drop the drama, please do so, no one is stopping you. Having a different opinion doesn't mean you need to insult the character or the actress at all, which is what many are doing.

Please do not use such derogatory terms. Also, did you even watch the show properly? There are many moments where showcases kindness and passion for her work, not her only being "childish" like you said!

Clearly you prefer FLs who are more "badass", so I hope you allow yourself to look for dramas that suit you better instead of forcing yourself to "tolerate" this and call the FL mentally ret***ed and say she "ruins" the show, without understanding the source material of this drama, and that she is literally just staying true to her character

Everyone has different tastes, and what some might find “cheesy” or “cringe,” others might think is cute or endearing like I do! Just because it doesn’t click with you doesn’t mean it’s unnatural.
"Cuteness" is subjective and can be expressed in many different ways, and I think hers is perfectly fine.

And I'm addressing the haters that just post hate and call her annoying and cringe, for hating on her for her cute voice, calling her mentally reta***ed (there's one comment below) and not actually understanding what her character is!

People who say the female lead is just annoying, childish, cheesy or whatever clearly did not watch the show properly. Sure, she likes to act cute around people that she admires and loves, and she IS cute, and what's wrong with that?? Also, if you watched the show properly, that's not her only character traits!!

Firstly, she is passionate in what she's doing for a living, even when her own mother is so against it she did not give up! Even when her company betrayed her and stole her comic she still remained positive and is trying to start a new comic from scratch. Even for snowboarding, she knows she is bad at it but she still tries her best!

Also, when she got splashed with water by her asshole boss, did she just stand there and take it? No! She dumped water right back at him, even when she was in a position where the power imbalance was entirely not in her favour at all. And when she's in the wrong (when she did not follow the ML's words to not go to the harder ski track), she readily admits it, and told the ML that it was entirely her own fault and he should not blame himself.

Another thing is how kind and down to earth she is. She helped the ML when he was giving out flyers and the 2 children were annoying him, helped sign the book for the ML even when he didn't know she was the real author with 0 complaints, and invited ML's sister to be her new assistant because she recognised her passion!

I can go on and on about what a genuine, passionate and kind person the FL is (e.g., not pushing the blame onto ManMan before confirming the facts, liking the ML because of his passion towards the sport and not just because he's handsome etc.), so I really just want to ask the people who write the character off as "annoying" and "childish" and whatnot just because she's cuter than the FLs that you find "acceptable", are you really watching this show??

Hands down the BEST proposal scene ever, amazing amazing acting from our main leads, thank you so much 难哄 team<3!! I will miss the times when I waited for the drama to start filming, looking for filming spoilers, counting down to the months and days before it starts airing, and counting down everyday to watch the show for the past few weeks etc. :") Till next time <3

I feel like a proud mother watching Dian Dian finally gather her courage and live the life she well and truly deserves😭😭
Also BJT's acting in the scene of her sharing her trauma is amazing, he didn't speak much but you can really feel his heart aching for her just from his eyes🥲

Couldn't watch the last 2 episodes without fast-forwarding all the scenes that Dian Dian suffered in...and even then I still cried because I just feel so bad for her 😭

People need to understand...that she is so damn brave for even just being ALIVE after that traumatic event and how her own literal egg donor turned her back on her so many times!!! (she does not qualify to be a "mother" AT ALL, egg donor it is)

I believe having SY go around all those places and really try to understand what her circumstances were like in the past does give more depth to the story, because in the novel Dian Dian told him everything by herself and it didn't really feel as convincing? iykwim

Also guys she DID NOT completely give up on her future, she's not just in HK to wash dishes...she's also studying! But is it just me or the scene where she asks her friend about postgrad studies in HK not available on Youku but it is on Netflix??

Honestly I find it a little out of character that Dian Dian doesn't reject MCY outright when he "visited" her house out of nowhere, considering how wary she is of people (tbh extremely rude and creepy and immediately made him one of the most hateful characters)

And it was also quite out of character for SY to let DJX stay over and shower without informing Dian Dian? Like he literally knows that Dian Dian just moved out of a place where she almost got SA-ed...how will she feel seeing a random male appear in her own house??

But other than these somewhat plot holes, this drama has been quite enjoyable actually, rarely does a drama make me have such deep sympathy for its FL...what did she even do to deserve all these😭I just want to get the mother, the aunt's whole family, MCY, and all the disgusting predators and throw them all away...

I've read the novel, it starts off really hilarious but it gets pretty serious towards the end, but ultimately it is a HE
The leads are really funny though! fyi S2 of the donghua is coming in 2025

Yeah the reveal of Dan-Ho to be Yeondu's uncle was kinda expected for a Kdrama due to S.K.'s attitudes towards single parenthood, but it is still disappointing...I really had hopes it was going to be like When The Camellia Blooms or One Spring Night :")
