One of iQIYI's notorious show, A Beautiful Lie, also adopts yin-yang crew method, just like Star Trails (I'm still refusing to acknowledge it's current title) and look at how badly it flopped (6.5 in MDL, you're breaking Guiness World Record for the worst C-drama this year, dude). I hope this show won't suffer similar fate as the former, though this is just my assumption. In the worst scenario, it'll be labeled with Dreadful or Troll lolll (the scoring system of O.W.L at Harry Potter series)

I've looked into all of the 17 episodes' flashbacks, but as for ep 18, I still need to wait tonight because I don't buy express.

If your theory is proven to be a true one, then it'll be too far-fetched for him given his sole motive is revenge due to a past feud with the Wen family, especially Binbin's father. Still, there's a lot of stuffs that need to be uncovered right now. Let's see what will happen in the new episodes.

What I love the most from this series is the leads' explosive chemistry and also the racing scenes. I've even reread the novel twice and can't help but keep raving about it. However, things are up to no good currently and I hope the production won't do them dirty, especially the actors, not to mention the OG source (for C-drama veterans, it's common to see numerous popular IP sources to be butchered here and there, leaving the readers utterly dissatisfied). I agree with you. The cops remind me of Snow Eagle Lord where the elders are also freaking dumb, though this one is much better compared to the former. Anyway, I enjoy this show very much and am eagerly waiting for new episodes. I've never been this excited before lollll.

I guess it was last year 'cause at that time I saw them mentioning license expiring and so on. I didn't know what happened because after that clowning day, I'd never entered this page anymore, to prevent myself from being insane LMAO. If this rumor is true, then it will be harder for Immortality to air - massive BL banning in China plus no license anymore 😭😭

Same, I also agree with you. This drama should be chucked out of the airing list a long time ago. Just looking at it makes me fed up, but we haven't got a valid proof for MDL admins that this drama was over months ago (you know how shitty those admins are, they never accept false rumors). I myself don't even have an evidence lol 🤷🤷
