100% serial killer material. There is a fair amount of romance and thriller. Aside from those murder cases, we still get to see the main leads' healthy relationship too.

FYI, her friend had a teacher-student love back in high school. The killer happened to see them being intimate and recorded it in a CD. Later, she failed gaokao and the existence of the CD drove her crazy. Then, the killer took advantage of her condition and told her that the teacher was drowning in a river. Without thinking twice, she also jumped into the river and died of drowning (which was claimed as suicide when it wasn't. poor girl 🥺🥺). This is what happens in the novel tho.

Btw, she didn't have a crush on ML (my assumption) 'cause her heart was belonged to the teacher already.

One of iQIYI's notorious show, A Beautiful Lie, also adopts yin-yang crew method, just like Star Trails (I'm still refusing to acknowledge it's current title) and look at how badly it flopped (6.5 in MDL, you're breaking Guiness World Record for the worst C-drama this year, dude). I hope this show won't suffer similar fate as the former, though this is just my assumption. In the worst scenario, it'll be labeled with Dreadful or Troll lolll (the scoring system of O.W.L at Harry Potter series)

What I love the most from this series is the leads' explosive chemistry and also the racing scenes. I've even reread the novel twice and can't help but keep raving about it. However, things are up to no good currently and I hope the production won't do them dirty, especially the actors, not to mention the OG source (for C-drama veterans, it's common to see numerous popular IP sources to be butchered here and there, leaving the readers utterly dissatisfied). I didn't know what happened because after that clowning day, I'd never entered this page anymore, to prevent myself from being insane LMAO. Same, I also agree with you. This drama should be chucked out of the airing list a long time ago. Just looking at it makes me fed up, but we haven't got a valid proof for MDL admins that this drama was over months ago (you know how shitty those admins are, they never accept false rumors).
