I mean some sort of moral lessons that we can get from a show. Out of all the dialogues, I can only find one or two. I mostly got confused with the storytelling and also the liquor thingy. I keep wondering to myself what's the meaning of liquor aside from ML's fondness of it. Just keep trudging along until the end of the show cos I have no intention of dropping it 😅

So far, there's no moral value regarding this show, unlike Joy of Life Season 2 and Mysterious Lotus Casebook. The romance is meh as well. I hope females leads have lesser screentime or I'm going to roll my eyes. I don't mean any hate, but for some reasons, I just don't like them.

So far the most interesting characters are Dongjun, Changfeng, Dingzhi, and of course our savage master Li (alongside his apprentices lol). I'm not expecting much of the romance between the leads.

Also, I like neither of the female leads. I've known Hu Lianxin since Fox Spirit Matchmaker - she did well as Rongrong but fails at the portrayal of Yue Yao. To be honest, I can't get into her character no matter how hard I try. As for Jiang Zhenyu, she's still a newbie and let's see how she tackles Yi Wenjun's character. Hope the romance is getting less and lesser.

My most favorite place in TBOY. I learn gambling for the first time through this place (I mean how those ancient people gambled in their past lives. I myself have never gambled before though and will never do it tbh). It also reminds me of Xiao Se. He's the king of Qianjin Gambling House. Even the owner respects him very much.

He's not your usual archetypal villain and yes,
he's quite a psychopath too 😂

Btw don't forget that Dr. He will be a cameo in this series. So far, he hasn't appeared yet but I'm quite interested in his character.

Based on my observations of several high-end dramas' ratings, it is normal for them to have lower ratings after 200, 300, or more voting.

Usually, for a temporary 8.5 drama will get downrated to 8.3 or 8.2. Seems like the rating system is getting harsher these days. Anyway, I believe that Dashing Youth can still catch up to its previous rating or even higher unless the plot goes haywire.

One more thing, ignore those trolls! Don't let them affect your mood. If you like this show, that's it.
