Thanks for your very detailed review. It succeeds in discouraging me to continue because I don't want to torture myself with open ending. The pyscho villain doesn't help much either, but he's gotten too much screentime which makes people become frustrated (reminded me of Snow Eagle Lord lol). On the other note, I can feel Gao Weiguang and Ouyang Nana's chemistry, though it's not an explosive one. I also hope Winwin (WayV/NCT) can choose better project in the future🤞🤞

Ikr! The romance is underbaked and pretty lame, if you ask me. And don't expect sizzling chemistry from the author because you won't get any. Fortunately, romance is a side dish so I'm not paying much attention to it.

If I'm not mistaken, Muyu kills Changhe with his own hands in TBOY for colluding with Prince Chi aka Xiao Yu (Xiao Se's little bro). I'm still heartbroken by their ending until now and wish he had never killed his brother.

No, it's not a malfunction. When the rating has reached a certain point, it will go down 0.2 to 0.3 itself. That's MDL's rating system according to my observation since last year. A very common situation, indeed.

Most of the original source has been changed into a new story, which is a pity because the novel is damn better than this. The Yin Ya I know may be unreasonable, but at least he still has a conscience and stays loyal to his friends instead of betraying them (the novel version). I'm currently at ep 6 so I don't know what will come next.

The lighting is overdone and the choppy editing reminds me of Fox Spirit Matchmaker. So far, the only likeable character is Mu Zhanting and his antics.

I hope the plot will develop smoothly or it will become another flop of the year.

To be precise, only the FL got bullied by Chu Jing and his senior Fu Lang. If I'm not mistaken, nobody seems to bother the ML. That's the case in the novel, but they may change the course of story in the live action series. Who knows what will happen next :)

They've changed the timeline of the drama because in the novel, their first encounter happened when they were participating Yangyue Sect's new disciple admission.

I'm also struggling to choose between these 3 dramas. So far, I've been delaying Love's Rebellion lol.

I'm not really sure but from what I've read, ML is killed by someone called Zi Emperor (Zi means purple in Mandarin). And he's seeking revenge against this very person.

From my perspective, the novel is quite chaotic and hilarious but also has its own angst like typical xianxia dramas. Not a very bad one, tho.

Is there anything wrong with the story? I've read the novel until 40 chapter something, but there doesn't seem to be any forbidden elements like rebirth/reincarnation.
