Despite watching in 2x speed, I'm totally glued up to my screen and feel captivated all over whether it's the background, cinematography, or the costumes (love the entire casts and their roles too). iQIYI needs a resurgence after months of endless flops and I believe FOF will help them get out of their slump year.

I don't even know what's going on with the plot or whatsoever. But it seems to be having a heavy dark tone like MJTY (not watching the former one though).

Deviation from the og source is one of the most dreaded things in C-drama because if you already have a gist of the og source, it will be very hard for you to think from another perspective (what I mean is you're going to stick with og source no matter what). For example, just look at FSMM (what a hot mess it is🥵🥵). I had been reading the manga's synopsis back and forth and even felt the chemistry between the main leads. But, what was the result??? HUGE DISAPPOINMENT!!! So, my suggestion is keep your fingers crossed and embrace yourself supposedly the show turns into a jeopardy.

Basically, she's your typical whiny nepo-baby girl. She has her father's back behind her so why being afraid of pulling up several tricks? If SXR hadn't insulted her back then, she wouldn't have turned into a toxic bitch. But, I do think SXR has a point when she confronts the bitchy intern head-on.

I also feel that the FL is a hypocrite, randomly saying that she wants to be together with the ML then suddenly rejects him because they're in different world (she emphasizes this multiple times). C'mon dude, she's just dilly dallying your time or in a harsh way, she's just playing with your feelings and will dump you when she feels she's done already.
Honestly, if I were one of the characters in this show, I would've rejected SXR's offer to participate in the variety show in a very blatant manner (given that I'm an absolute introvert). You see, it's as if making fools out of yourselves. Some people may think it's funny, but I don't. I hope they can make a more sensible activity for the couples tho.

In my opinion, just go ahead if you want some sugary and fluffy antidote (but do shut off your brain when something silly comes up in the variety show).
For the sake of this show, I even omit Snowy Night: Timeless Love (3 eps in but feels that the plot is kind of...) and Kill Me Love Me from my watchlist.
I won't say it's correct, though. But, you see, party A will be jealous of party B and vice versa, so it will be very hard for the FL to choose between two boys. I'm not going to discuss any further since it's not In Between page.
