At least he has enough screen time in series. I’m on episode 8 and they didn’t cut him at all. Netflix probably just said they they would.

Oh c’mon are you not aware what alcoholism does to families and societies? Read a few articles on that than come back here and preach on the declining West. And we, international fans are not saying that he should not be punished but canceling him and destroying his career is absurd and too harsh. You can’t have both ways, selling shows and idols to international public, profit from that and moralizing about west, it’s just pure nonsense and propaganda. Every society has it’s own problems and ways to deal with them. That not means that West is declining and East is prospering, they just have different problems and approach to them.

I can’t believe you losers not adding Yoo Ah In in pictures. He is main lead like it or not. Thank God that we get to see him in series, hopefully in the future even more, he deserves to be on screens.

Sorry but after promising start it was suddenly boring for me around episode 9 and i dropped it for now. Too bad because main leads are good but story is 🙄

I will watch until the end because even 10 seconds of him on screen are better than none. TBH main reason for watching this series is him as much as other members of cast are also good he is simple on another level.

I just watched ep. 1 and was very glad when I saw him. I hope he will be more in next episodes. I didn’ read the novel so I don’t know exactly how central his role is in it.
Ialso love other cast members too.

Can’t wait for Yoo Ah-In in this. Even if they did cut some scenes he is still one of the best korean actors, so I hope they smarter than that.

I loved both The red sleeve and Mr Sunshine ( didn’t watch My Dearest) and loved Six flying dragons. It’s just on the whole another level and perfomances are stellar.

I’ve watched it on Viki. Finished yesterday, it’s 10/10.

Thanks. It was opposite for me. But just finished this show and truly wanted something to get me from the slump after Reply 1988 but unfortunately it was just good for me. Btw. I really loved main actors though and altough I’ve known Kim Taeri from previous movies and dramas as an excellent actress I didn’watch main actor before and Im really pleasantly surprised . Any other shows frim him that are also good?

Exactly this.lt’s not sad ending that I don’t like but logic behind that is twisted, as you said., it’s lazy writing. Btw. both main leads were great and chemistry between them it’s was great but it feels like missed opportunity because of the script. I understand why lot if people liked it as their favorite show, nevertheless.

That was sad for me too. I really liked everything but I feel that misery was not realistic and some logic for that endind was lacking too. As viewers were left hanging without proper reason. In the end, was it second couple love story more strong or they were more mature? Idk, love this show for the great actors but really feeling some loose ends from the script or even worse, scoring on misery just for the sake of it not for the coherence of the script.

I agree with you about the execution and somewhat tragic and missed opportunity for relaying more meaningful message in 2125. It’s really shame as I really liked main actors and their chemistry,cinematography , OST but something is missing at the end.
Reply 1988, on the other hand, had all that, especially chemistry not just main actors but with whole ensemble and succeded to maintain that fine balance between going to tragic or to sweet, it felt more close to life and authentic experience for me.
P.S. I tried not to compare both shows but I watched them both in short period of time so I could not help it.
