Well, it seems that a lot of new shows which I was excited about, especially from Netflix, are disappointing.

I really doubt that you will like the show. While it has more action in the middle it soon slips again into more melancholic, philosophical vibe type of show. I really wanted to like it because of Yoo and he is more than enough represented till the end. Still, this show lacks to deliver answers to some logical questions you posed earlier as why they don’t try harder to leave peninsula and just wait passively till the end. It revolves around community and relationships more than danger from asteroid. I feel they were going in lot of directions with children, gang, corrupt elite, church but failed to deliver deep enough for me to care about all of that. Also, there are lot of characters and narratives to emotionally bond with them.

I don’t want to spoiler it for you but later on they focus more on that. Also I would like to apologize for my comment to you. I usually don’t comment anything here.

I feel it’s an interesting story but poorly executed. It gets better after episode 3 but not so much to recommend you to continue watching if you have anything better to watch. I tend to stick with average shows if I like actors so probably that is the main reason why I still watch this.

Too bad. Not even western shows? Anyway, thank you for your answer.
P.S. I would love to read review of this series from someone within that field regarding percentage of reality vs. fiction depicted in show.

Where can I watch this aside for D+?Because Disney + in Europe doesn’t offer this series in the catalogue. Probably ratings will be better if more viewers would see this series.

She is probably my favorite actress in kdramas. Also, I liked her romance both in Happiness and Moving, nothing too saharine but feels very authentic. I hope we will see some of it here too.

I don’t like living in delusion that such companies care about anything then profit and don’t care what their spin doctors or representatives say in each country. When is saying the truth inpolite on MDL? Your comments aint better as much you are acting holly

To be honest I don’t expect too much logic in this show and also ratings are insane for this kind of lousy story but it’s fun to watch, nevertheless.

They didn’ t cut him out at all. The show is just messy from the script to begin with. I’m on the episode 8 and Yoo Ah In is quite lot in the show. Of course that Netflix would say that they will cut him and then do nothing. They are not that stupid to cut him.
P.S. I agree that he is great actor and just continue to watchhe is top notch as always and is holding this show which is rather mediocre.

lol, you’re so funny thinking that Netflix will have restrictive contracts. Or Disney for that matter. They are international streaming platforms and lot more people will watch anything with Yoo Ah In or Ju Ji Hoon regardless of “scandals” they were or are involved in. It would be whole other story if scandal was sex offender or something that would be huge backlash internationally but marijuana and pills, ? I bet they are laughing at what you call scandal
