Last one I really enjoyed was Mysterious Lotus casebook.I will try Love of Nirvana as I love FL or Legend of Shen Li first.

lol I dropped TTEOTM on ep 30. I guess it's a thin line what I love and what is annoying to me about tragic characters ( same with his role in Ashes of love ) 😭

You're so right! I was annoyed with some of his plot stories before but his shows keep staying in my memory while some other shows I forgot completely. But ofc we are all different and taste is subjective. I also dropped some really popular dramas lots of people loved. I usually prefer tight plot stories. But this is first time I anxiously wait for another episode of series still airing to drop, usually I wait for the series to end to binge it.

Last episode was so emotional! Also scene with Li Jie/ Wuhuo was so beautiful. I wish more series were so visually stunning as Guo's works. Feasts for eyes and heart. Stories in his shows can go in circles sometimes but one is always connected strongly with his characters. I like also that cast in his shows is pretty much similar so it feels like I'm watching family reunion. Tian Jia Rui is doing excellent job here, really killing it with this role. Just my opinion

This series is more captivating then POJ for me. Speaking as someone who read novel and Z. Linghe fan. Also, if you don't watch why comment here ? Go camping on POJ page instead. Not every series is for everyone and that is ok.

I watched FOF, My journey to you and now Veil if shadows and this series despite having similar cast like his previous projects feel fresh and exciting to me, not even close to recycled story. I'm sorry you didn't enjoyed it but fortunately lot of people are loving it.

I will definitely rewatch Veil of shadows again once all episodes are out.
It's first series that I watch while still on air because I usually don't like waiting for episodes and binge watch series to be fully immersed in story and characters.

VOS I can't wait for the new episode to air, I'm more obsessed while LBTG can watch casually few episodes one day and then several days not watching. That's just my opinion

I loved episode 8 and Tian Jia Rui character with all his complexity. This series really keeps me intrigued, cast is doing phenomenal work. I usually wait for series to finish and then binge episodes but I can't wait with this one.
