Title Joji to Jijo Spoiler
As I do not speak Japanese, I could not understand the ending. pls share with me your conclusions / thoughts.…
If it were to continue, I feel like Saeko would write an article about it, stay platonic friends with Shotoro, and keep to herself for the rest of her life. I feel like it'd make her realize she'd rather devote herself to her work again.

I feel like Sera could still end up starting a relationship with Arisa, only for her to destroy him. Arisa would continue in her marriage happily after getting rid of road block's in her own happiness.

I think it'd be a twisty ending with a different type of happy ending.

I feel like it's kinda an open ending. Like did she let it hit her because life had continually dealt her terrible…
I think he was a flawed character. He cares for her, but not enough to stay loyal to her. He cared for Saeko, but he also liked Arisa. He simply seemed to decide to stay with Saeko because she was the safer choice of the two and because she genuinely cared for him.

I think he saw the flower pot dropping. He mentioned earlier about the psychic reading. How one woman would save him and one would destroy him. Perhaps because he didn't stay loyal or good to Saeko, Saeko wasn't able to save him and instead Arisa was there to destroy the one thing that could've saved him.

Saeko and the child would've been a restart for him to attempt a family, move forward in work, and become a loyal man. But he didn't treat her well and Arisa destroyed his savior instead.

I think it was more of a sense of betrayal rather than him simply having a child. She was traumatized by her husband lying and cheating on her. That lying led to her stress induced labor and loss of her own child. So Sera lying about an entire child means that he didn't feel shame lying to her. So it was a mix of his lies, recognizing the photos of Arisa showing his desire for her, and her past experiences. So her chucking the camera was both dramatic and realistic lol.

It would've been interesting to see how Arisa deals with her sister. If she's willing to take out Saeko, maybe her twin sister is next?

I think it was interesting how the character's psychology played a role in this too. Saeko was a straightforward and protective person who strived towards justice. While Arisa seemed to have narcissistic tendencies, didn't mind if her husband cheated as long as he stayed with her, and looked down on those that give up happiness for justice.

It was a very interesting two perspectives to watch play out.

What in the whiplash was that last episode? I hate it, but also really like how twisty and weird it went?
Normally when the ML is in debt, it's always for school, parent's debt, or someone is sick. It's so funny and darkly realistic that the ML was actually a cheater who had to pay alimony and child support after a divorce. That was so funny and unexpected.

There were hints that the narrator Arisa was extremely narcissistic, but I was not expecting it to go that far. That was a crazy unexpected ending. It was both fun and dumb, idk which way I'm leaning more.

What the heck with that ending? So I'm assuming that she stood there just waiting for it to hit her... because…
I feel like it's kinda an open ending. Like did she let it hit her because life had continually dealt her terrible relationships or did she move out of the way and move on? She could have supported the child on her own and Shotaro could've been a great support system as well.

i don't know how to say it without sounding bad (for either of them) but ishii anna looks too natural to play…
I get what you mean. Neither of the remakes actually casted leads that had gone through extensive plastic surgery. Kinda misses the whole point.

Lackluster plot, but had amazing characters and great casting. The characters had layers to them and the whole cast had great chemistry. I think this had a lot of potential, but fell short. It's definitely still worth a lighthearted watch.

I really liked the concept, but the acting is very iffy. Julia is exceptional, as is Nicholas, but Sang Heon is very awkward. His accent sounds too posh and "fancy" to fit his character and he just seems to be too hyperaware in each scene making his body language and line delivery really stilted. Even compared to filipino shows where the acting tends to be a bit lower quality, he stands out as awkward.

Title My Boyfriend
but it was cute until he completely turned into a different person
He was a gentle, sweet, and warm character for 90% of the show. Him acting crazy and abusive like that went against his entire character and made me hate the last few eps. Did the writers forget who their audience was? We were all here for the kind househusband not the typical domineering abusive ML.

Where did you watch it?
On One: High School Heroes Jul 4, 2025
Why is everyone in this show late 20s or mid 30s? What casting director went out of their way to cast ONLY fully grown adults?? The youngest high school actor is 27 and the oldest is 34!

what was he point putting bucket hat in that drama haha
What was the point of the bucket hat? Students can't wear hats in school and it just looked dumb the whole time.
