I really want to like this show but I’m struggling to really like it as much as I wish I could. I adore Dunk & truthfully never really saw it when people would call him a weak actor, but I will say this might be one of his weakest projects for me. Not that he’s a bad actor at all, but I think this role is more complex than his previous roles. I also agree with the person that said it sometimes feels like he’s overthinking too much during a scene. Some moments just come off unnaturally to me. Again, I adore him & I’ve never had an issue with any of his other roles or projects, this one just comes off stiff to me.
On top of the though, there are moments in the series itself where it feels like there are some plot holes or some things that don’t completely feel like they make sense. I absolutely love the concept but as a whole, all put together, it’s not completely capturing me the way I would like it to.
It’s because it sells. lots of people love her work,me included. They are just stories. No one is advocating…
Making novels with dark themes isn’t a bad thing but her executions are terrible & romanticizes toxic behavior. Yeah, she has many fans, which is quite worrisome if it’s impressionable young people, which I’m sure it is. Not sure why you’re defending her to me, I simply stated my opinion, that wont change. Nowhere did I say you couldn’t read her toxic mediocre books.
Just finished 10Dance & knew he looked familiar! What’s hilarious is that though I’ve seen Cherry Magic, that’s not what I instantly recognized him from. & I never watched Alice in Borderland or Glass Heart. I recognized him from Life as a Girl! I absolutely adored that series (though there were of course some flaws & it was entirely too short)
I know nothing about competitive dance so please forgive me of my ignorance if this is actually normal, but that commentator at the end had me laughing, it just felt goofy somehow. If that’s honestly how it is in dance competitions, I severely apologize for my lack of knowledge & culture. I just wasn’t expecting it & it felt out of place for me.
The movie as a whole, I enjoyed though. Again, I’m clueless about competitive dance, I only took dance one year as a teenager & was both too broke & not good enough to continue. I also never took ballroom or Latin. I feel with movies focused on sophisticated dance leaves me feeling lost, but I felt this film did really well showing the emotions I normally can’t see easily laid out.
I know there are mixed reviews but I personally found it rather beautiful. Both the main actors & female partners did an extraordinary job!

Yes, I myself am a Stray Kids fan, but I still say that that is a common joke question that’s in more than just this series. I just brought it up because your original comment states that he’s a fan of this BL but only used that quote as a reference. I definitely would understand that an idol can’t exactly say publicly that they like BLs but asking that specific question doesn’t exactly mean he got it from here. Who knows, it’s possible, but it’s been online for longer than this show. You’re saying it’s “my opinion”, but it’s not an opinion, it’s a fact that it’s been around for a while. If you have any other examples of how he could be a fan of this show, then I’d understand, but curry is a popular food & it’s not that specific since you can Google the question & find multiple people asking it or talking about it.

Was gonna try to find this one & give it a go but then read that it’s a Mame adaptation & that stalking is involved (because of course it is) so I guess I’ll have to give it a pass. Such a shame, the synopsis sounds like a good plot but I can’t deal with Mame’s terrible toxicity obsession/fetish. Like it’s 2026, so many series are finally pulling away from all of that but she’s stuck in her greedy LBC & TT days where she made a ton of money for God knows why.
I promise I’m not trying to be a party pooper at all nor am I saying he hasn’t watched or enjoyed this series, but that actually is a joke “would you rather” type question that’s been around from even before this series so it’s possible if that was the only reference he made, that it may not have been in reference to the show but just a question he’s heard before.

SAME!! The synopsis feature on GagaOOLala for the Roku is garbage so I didn’t even try reading it & went in completely blind. The whole first episode I was fighting with myself on who I’d want him to end up with just for the bomb to go off at the end that no matter who he ends up with, he’ll still end up with the other one too lol
Starting season 2 now, finished the first season last night & man oh man, it was way better than I thought it would be!! I watched a different series that was a little similar in plot (2 actors playing in a BL where one liked the other first) & I found that one not executed as well as I had hoped it would be. This one on the other hand, was exactly what I had hoped the other series was going to be like! The plot was great, the actors were great, & it was absolutely hilarious!! 2 episodes into the second season & it hasn’t lost the peak comedy yet!
I met Aam years ago during the premier of one of his movies & he was one of the nicest guys I could have ever met! Such a very down to earth & generous person as well as a great director!
Man, I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 years since this film came out! I was actually in Thailand at the time of the premiere & got to meet the cast & crew while actually see the movie in theaters. Fun fact: the theater release almost got pulled due to it being the start of COVID. Glad it didn’t though & I was able to see it!!
The movie, though I will admit was rather unrealistic, was still have beautiful. The cast & crew did amazingly & were very sweet & down to earth! Sad to see some of them haven’t done much film wise since, but I’m glad they all at least did this movie!

I know this is a late response, but this made me laugh so hard! When the movie premiered, I actually got to see it in Thailand & talk with the cast of the show. Ice doesn’t speak English fluently, but I remember he mentioned being a bit embarrassed by the snot crying scene lmao
