Does anyone have any working links to an English sub to this??
It’s out of my region on both GagaOOLala & BiliBili.
(No, I don’t have a VPN anymore, after a while it started messing up my phone & I had to delete it)
On Sensei wo Boku Iro ni Somete Jan 24, 2026
Near impossible to find in my region, settled for watching it with terrible subs.
Now, I absolutely adore Yusuke, he’s always been an incredible actor, & I was excited to see him in a BL. However, this wasn’t that great of a show. It was basically one of those bad “My Drama Reel” shows where the story was incoherent & just utterly bad. Not to mention the gross “adult teacher & 17 year old student” dynamic.

Yusuke is still a wonderful actor & the cast itself wasn’t terrible, but the story sucked & the low budget didn’t help. I hope Yusuke continues to get work in the future, but I hope they’re better projects that really shows off his talent.

I saw some people suspecting the ex, which is definitely valid, but for some reason my mind went straight to the mom at the end of episode 10.
Like, I thought maybe she has the code to his safe & was trying to steal stuff but got caught by U Seong, got into an altercation, accidentally stabbed him, panicked, & dipped.

However, that wouldn’t explain Jae Hui’s situation or why the other earring was still there. Unless she went to confront them both in order to get the contract to still go through so she can get paid? But even then that’s still murky.

Hye Ju I guess would make more sense but I can’t really think of any reasons other than trying to protect Ra Ik. Making him a murder suspect wouldn’t really be protecting him but it could be something to tie him to her by trying to help him?

I’m not sure, the earrings threw me in for a loop because, though it would be insanely obvious, the CEO (possibly hiring someone since he was in the office) is the only one that makes sense with the info we have so far.

This drama was cute but reminded me a lot of older Kdramas from the 2010s (& not exactly in a good way)

Very overly dramatic with a very villainous family member that doesn’t know how to show love & blames the lead for something ridiculous & gets a terrible redemption arc. It doesn’t make it a bad show, but just feels as unrealistic as the older dramas seem when I rewatch them. However, I used to eat those up so it didn’t completely turn me off.
The first love grudge on both parts got a bit old & it did feel a little weird with her referring to her “first love” being a 15 year old when she was 19, the romance was fine when they were 30 but just felt a little uncomfy in a way I can’t fully describe when they referred to their love in the past. There were also some cringe moments & the ML didn’t completely sell it for me the whole time but I still did enjoy his character thoroughly. His secret interests were cute & the FLs growing feelings for him, nerdy interests & all, was rather adorable to me.

I’d say it was a cute show to just turn your brain off & enjoy but wasn’t the best series to love as anything more complex than a feel-good romcom.

As far as I can remember anyway most of Se Na's investigating has been in direct response to things brought up…
Okay, I just talked with my fiancé & I think I might just be dumb lmao

All the crime shows I’ve ever watched I believe were set through the prosecutor’s side so I don’t have much knowledge for defendant set shows. Well, I guess I don’t have much knowledge with legal information in general.

My fiancé said defense lawyers don’t typically have a police team to investigate for them since at least here, it’s usually the state vs. the defendant, the state including the police.

So disregard everything I’ve said before, I was incorrect with my initial comments.

Yeah, I wouldn’t think that would be her job but her team’s job, no? Does Korea not have a police team to help with investigations on both sides? I don’t watch a whole lot of crime Kdramas so I could just be completely ignorant & annoyed for incorrect reasons lol

The fact that they never investigated the CEO as a suspect always bothered me. Didn’t they say at some point…
Yeah, I know the prosecutor wouldn’t for the sole reason of being controlled by his dad, but why didn’t the defendant’s team? It’s just such odd unrealistic behavior to me lol

Like it feels like her team didn’t really search for much aside from a few of the things she did on her own, which also strikes me as odd. I guess I don’t know much about the Korean legal system but having the lawyer do all the investigating is weird. Especially since the prosecutor has some of his police team looking into things like CCTV footage.

It’s a show so it’s not that serious but man, it’s aggravating to me lol

I commented this on someone else’s comment but wanted to also make this a separate comment;
The fact that they never investigated the CEO as a suspect always bothered me. Didn’t they say at some point that Woo Seung had a call with the CEO while Ra Ik was out that night? That would have made the CEO the last person to have a conversation with him alive. No one found that odd????

It would be highly predictable if he is in fact the killer but it makes the most sense. & even outside of that, proper investigating should have been done with that. Like you’re not even going to question him & ask what the conversation was about? If I’m remembering correctly, the CEO did say he was in his office the night of the murder, but did anyone actually check into that?? If they still don’t go after the CEO at least to thoroughly question him now that another member was severely injured, I’m gonna be so annoyed! I know the prosecutor is set on making Ra Ik go down no matter what as per his father’s wishes, but what about the defendant’s team?? I get it’s a show & it’s all for drama, but man oh man, this is getting under my skin lol

I’m surprised at the amount of hate everyone is having towards the ML. Yeah, he shouldn’t have been going through someone’s stuff, but it wasn’t like he was purposely snooping. He was just looking around because he wanted to get to know her more. & he reacted the way he did because since he was 10 years old, his entire life was built on other people wanting things from him. He never really had a real connection with someone else that wasn’t for another person’s gain.

Now that he’s finally feeling a real connection with someone he feels like he can trust & doesn’t want something for personal gain, finding out that person lied the whole time is sending him back to when he needed his walls up. Yes, it might be an overreaction to throw all of the merch on the ground but being upset is understandable. Now he feels like she wanted something from him this entire time & is secretly an obsessed fan. I mean he just had two fans break into his home as well as slash the tires of a car he was in. His trust is already low.

With Se Na saying her number one rule was no lying to her, it must feel unfair for her to be lying to him from the beginning. I understand both characters though, I don’t think either one is inherently wrong. He’s allowed to feel what he does. I just hope they don’t have him completely self destruct or drag on the angst too long.

Was this taken off Viki?? I remember I first watched it there when it came out & started a rewatch a few years back but now that I’m trying to go back to watch again, I’m not finding it….
Anyone know where I can watch it?

Having the one character to remember things that everyone outside of the main leads forget be someone with dementia was such an amazing & beautiful touch!! I probably cried the most during her scenes. Her first & last scene of her hinting at remembering really hit something in me. Oh, as well as her first scene shown when Sol goes back to 2008! That broke me down to a sobbing mess!!

Such a stunning series!!!!

when did mdl become a place where you can't even criticize an actor's terrible performance without the entire…
It’s not an MDL thing, it’s an internet thing. If you’re going to be critical about something, especially on the page that the person you’re criticizing is about, you’ll get pushback.
I don’t agree with Dunk being a bad actor, I actually found him stronger than one of the other 4 main characters in THK, but I won’t say exactly who because again, the internet doesn’t like differing opinions.

(Reread this & thought the tone could be taken snarky but I want to say that I’m definitely not trying to be, but I don’t want to rewrite everything lol)

A better lesson to learn is don’t keep clips of non consenting people in vulnerable sexual situations.
Did I say it was the show’s fault? I said the takeaways shouldn’t be what OP said.
& I’m not trying to control anything.
The first comment may have been a joke, I responded not even as seriously with what the lesson should be. The tone only shifted when the person’s response was seriously defending & making excuses for such behavior.

Actually, not everyone does. If we ALL know what we shouldn’t do then it wouldn’t happen but it does. And seeing as many BL fans do over romanticize BLs, saying “the real takeaway from this episode is to set passwords” when there’s a huger takeaway blurs the lines for people who are toxic or in toxic relationships.

Just like all of you, I’m allowed an opinion as well. Again, you can like the show, but the amount of people who excuse this behavior for the sake of BL can be concerning & I have the right to voice that.
