It reminded me of how he knew all along Ran Yi was the murderer of the brides, but he kept it hidden to help out Ran Yi and solve the case his own way. He's too smart and perceptive to not figure out PSJ is suspicious.

She said her adoptive father was Commander Fan. So depending on how the commander is related to ZYC, she probably has some kind of "aunt" relation to him BUT they are definitely not blood-related. At best they are family friends.
