I think it also would have been more poignant if they made it that ML didn't die simply because his "creator" died. It kind of vindicated the prince's claim that ML can't live without his creator and vindicated the prince's mission to attain spirituality.

sigh. this drama was soo perfect. i absolutely loved the combination of a murder mystery whodunnit type genre + the nostalgic 80s vibe + its examination of complex family relationships and friendships. i just love a time travel fix-it, perhaps because it's a wish-fulfillment scenario but it's such an interesting concept, and a trope you can repeat while getting a different product everytime. also the choice to end on that specific question/suggestion?! it was like the cherry on top. i've yet to find a drama like this.

Do you watch kdramas? I would recommend the Haunted Palace rather than this. The only issue is kdramas air at a much more slower rate
