She cares about her family and her close aid. did you forget that she traded her revenge toward her brother's killer to save the guard? she even cries in her brother's grave because she can't revenge on him. She is willing to burden her father's mistake in order to pardon her family, her last wish in her dream before death (fake dead) is to pardon her family.

if I suddenly wake up from a dream where my family is still alive I will blame someone who woke me up to it normal, are you sure you do not blame him at all when you are in her shoes? are you telling him thankyou for waking me up to reality when all of my family died as your first reaction?

yeah, I got that but it's like a mother telling her daughter (two of them live in Seoul) to meet in Jeju island but there they not going on a vacation they just meet and her mother tells the daughter to don't forget to eat healthy not just noodle all day because she lives alone, and after that, her mother brings her daughter back to Seoul.

the massage is good but the delivery is not the best. if she wants to tell her daughter to eat healthy she doesn't need to meet at Jeju just visit her home/apartment and bring her good food when possible. if she wants to meet in Jeju go on vacation not just tell her to eat healthy.

I know and understand that this is not a day before the shooting started decision to make this ending because the official English title indicates the importance of the scent but still 27 episodes of her journey become a filler with episode 30 as an ending.

for 27 episodes FL is the main character, and her journey is the core of the story, in episode 29 she finally live leisurely and her parent is saved but in episode 30 everything is a dream and her effort to save her family is in vain.

ML loves her so what? For the first 27 or 29 episodes the ML IRL has little to no impact on the story, and suddenly episode 30 reveals everything and FL has to face the harsh reality that her family died.

for me, there is Two ending. First ending episode 29, FL's journey to save her family comes to an end so she can live leisurely in the suburb. The second ending is episode 30 when ML got the girl.

without episode 30 did not make this drama ordinary or without meaning. she is someone who got a second chance, the keyword is "chance". when she gets a chance she does her best to use the chance she gets. even though everything not as smooth as expected to be (her brother died) she still tries to make the best out of it

I would say "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" Her comeback was not at the best time (before she and her father made a mistake) but she made the best out of it. when she wants to get revenge but her closest aid is in danger she chooses the best outcome to save him and did not be blinded by revenge. when she wants to live leisurely with her family in a suburb but ML obsessively wants to keep her by his side she makes the best out of it by holding all the family burden so her family can leave even if it means she dies.

it's not about you can get away with everything because clearly, she did not even after comeback. but her effort and focus toward the goal when she got a chance as we know change is rare and a second chance even rarer.

if we think about it she is a brat and pampered lady before, scheming to drag down her friend's family so she can be with him but after she gets a chance she does her best. the process and result are not smooth or perfect but she makes the best out of it. by the end of episode 29, she is only with her guard and knows that her family is safe. there is no maid to assist her, chef to cock her, or other luxury she usually gets before. so she did not get away with everything but compared to before she ended up in better condition thanks to her effort and sacrifices when she was given a chance.

time travel is not real but chance and second chance are real even if it is rare.

I understand your point. if we pay close attention like you, Scent Mystery and a few seconds of episode one would make something missing with only episode 29 but for me the impact of 27 episodes gone just like that is unsatisfying.

from the start I supported FL and I wanted to know what would she do to solve the problem, that was fun and it's the reason I watched this. the red hearing of her lying down in bed and the scent of the incense is the last thing on my mind. before episode 20 I think there was a rumor that this was a dream and I hope that is false because the implication is her family whom she trying to protect still died IRL.

knowing the mystery is good but for me, FL being happy and successfully protecting the family is a satisfying ending so I choose episode 29 over 30.

I watched until the end so I know that she is not killed in episode one but you only know that in episode 30 because from episodes 1 to 29 you only know red hearing that someone gave an incense toward FL who lay down on the bed. about a voice saying "Would you be willing to change if there a second chance?" before she comes back into bed chamber did not make a plot hole even if episode 29 is the ending.

there is only one thing that needs to be erased to make episode 29 the ending without the need for episode 30 at all is a red hearing of someone giving FL incense when she laid in bed.

It's a far stretch to say that traveling back in time story encourages people to suicide so they can be reborn/time travel.

Why did I choose episode 29 as an ending? Episodes 1 to 27 are all about FL's journey to save her family. all the choice she makes during the 27 episodes is for her family to save and her happiness and love life is in second place. after that long story, I'm fine with either her success in saving her family and having a happy ending or making it a sad ending( her family and she died, etc). for me, episode 30 is an alternative ending for The Shipper because it makes 27 episodes I just watch as a filler.

if they want to make FL and ML together they need to give us a reason why
(showing he is sad when she is married in the real world, showing he fight with other people and faction to pardon her in the real world, etc). One episode of explanation (talking)is farrrr from enough to make 27 episode as a filler.

it's a fun ride drama.

FL is wanted by the government because of her and her family's mistakes. her effort to run away from the government is in vain and she gets caught and killed together with her family but suddenly she is back before the tragedy begins and her journey to save her family from the tragedy starts.

FL is clever and decisive making this drama enjoyable. 30 episodes 45 min is considered long if you are a Kdrama or Jdrama watcher but worry not because this drama is compact and rich in story(not draggy or has super slow pace).

if there is something that needs to change, I personally want to change episode 29 as the real ending, not episode 30.

EP 29 is my ending because after 29 episode he can save her family except her brother.

the similarity in what? Is FL smart? (Try Story of Milan) but if you talking about compact(short) and rich in the story I never watch another C drama like this

selfish but faithful to her character and her effort from episodes 1 to 27. She comes back to save her family even when her life is the price she needs to pay (episode 27). her change decision to let her family go seems to be forced just to make the shipper happy not the FL

from the first episode, her goal is to save her family and in order to do that she wreaks her brain, persuades her family, and is even willing to sacrifice herself to get punishment in exchange for her family's survival but everything is in vain at episode 30 because all her family dies and she suddenly willing to let it go after ML rumbling few lines.

she is back in a coma and chooses to live in her dream and live with her family is the most realistic ending considering she is willing to sacrifice herself and her love for family survival.

nope. For you who don't like infidelity don't watch this. at first, when the side character had infidelity I shrugged it off and skipped it because they were just side character but the more the story progress it seems this drama make infidelity something normal and I don't like it.

infidelity here and there can this called romance drama because relationship status doesn't have much meaning
