the theme is kinda messed up but surprisingly entertaining.

this drama is like an onion. there is something new every episode that makes us think again about their relationship.

No, he did not kill them because they are bad. first, kills because he wants to escape but accidentally kills him. second kill because she attacked him but he deflected it, unfortunately, the projectile that got deflected damaged her so she died.

the possibility of him not falling for her after knowing what she did before is not 100% because he knows that now she has changed and repented.

she kind to her, she changed from before met him and her past mistake has nothing to do with him(he is not the victim/victim family) so he not going to feel betrayed

She doesn't love HR romanticly but in her dream she definitely more comfortable with him than Xi Wu.

because we know more about xi wu in her dream not xi wu IRL. Compared to xi wu in her dream we only got very little information about xi wu IRL.

his possessiveness in the dream makes her and her family separate, makes her guard get locked up and tortured, and makes her brother killer mastermind free is leaving a big impact that he is not the best candidate for FL even though he really loves her. so Xi Wu IRL need a lot of screen time to change viewer feeling about him.

there is guilt by association fallacy. people can have a bad image from other people because of their brother, family, or close friend's bad mistakes and here Xi Wu in her dream and IRL have the same name and the same appearance. It's a fallacy but people's emotions are not 100% rational. his likeliness in some viewer's eyes is not good because of Xi Wu in the Dream and it is not the audience's fault but it's the producers who make dramas like this

for someone who wants to give a good massage the producer surely does a small work. out of 30 episodes, more than 28 of them were in a dream and the red hearing(scent) did not affect her decision-making/plot progress in a dream.

no matter how good the implicit meaning procedure wants to tell us what makes it interesting is her journey in the dream(because if it is not why in the world do you watch 27 episodes).

the changes make it a more realistic approach and try to give a message to the viewer but that's it. we know very little about xi wu IRL. except in the first episode when he saves her (it's him but we don't who he is in the first episode) and he gives her medicine, other than that it's just a story from other people or what he says.

they are not a bad actor by any means but that little interaction is not enough. the only actors from a movie I ever watched who gave me real feelings of affection without meet were Hyu-bin and Son Ye-jin in The Negotiation

this drama has the same feel with product developed and created by factory but we buy it after another company rebrand it and give the product a packages.

idk about you but experiencing her family dying 3 times is enough punishment for me. the reason she doesn't accept reality at first is not because afraid of punishment but her family not there

no, you miss my point. he does that to release his torment as you know he is shocked and becomes mad like a crazy person when he knows it and crumbles down after Woo Jin wants to tell Mido that ML is her father.

I think the movie means to end at a sad ending if that is true so hypnotizing Mido is not an option.

did her daughter know? I read a blog explaining that they say that Woo Jin didn't tell ML's daughter that they are family. the hypnotize is for him because he is tormented as he says "Even though I no better than a beast don't I have the right to live?"

woo jin finally takes his revenge but ML still got tormented that he is F*ck his own daughter. after being framed for killing her wife, and in prison for 15 years, he still needs to bear that he doing incest.

yeah but its suprise me. never in my mind the ending will be like that.

after I watched the entire drama it is more than just man can never be a victim of abuse.

it's definitely stupid if happens in the real world but there is reason here and there to make the drama more believable I guess.

he liked her before knowing about her abusive tendency but later he knows her history with her family to understand her tendency. he knows if he leaves her alone in that situation something bad gonna happen.

she as his past lover who separated not because of cheating etc and he understands her background and her messy situation right now, so his half-ass effort to make her leave is kinda understandable.

actually, I've never read this novel, but I like this kind of story and read another novel about time travel, reincarnation, and transmigration.

episode 1-27 is fun but episode 28-30 are not so much. The pace is different, the density of the story is different, and the overall vibe is different.

idk how to explain it but the last 3 episode is different from before. FL's journey in the dream is interesting other than that not so much.

so she died then. from episode 20+(after FL's divorce) I didn't like ML. After all the plans she makes he is the biggest obstacle. I know he is pitiful because as a lord he has little freedom but forcing FL on his side is too much. ML's mother also did something bad to separate ML and FL like that. the two of them using the same excuse "I'm doing this for your own good".

after multiple times trying to stop her and telling them that he doing git for her own good, he tastes his own medicine when her mother doing it for him. Because of that, he let her go.

At the end of episode 29 finally, ML got food cocked by FL, the food he wants it for a long time, the food he want to get on his birthday but can also be a farewell food.

for me, it's a good closure. not 100% happy ending but closure for FL and ML.

I would say episode 30 is a good opening for Season 2 (new journey)but for closure season one episode 29 is the best for me.

let's make myself clear I watch this because of the synopsis and episode one where she does something bad> gets punishment> and travels back in time.

from episode 1 until 27 the core of the story is FL trying to save her family from tragedy. In episode 29 after Time Skip finally, her family is 100% free so it's already ending for me because from the start I don't care who she ends up with but the romance here is needed to make the plot going forward.

I know that the dream part makes it realistic but without episode 30 all red hearing from episodes 1 to 29 is easy to shrug it off and that's what I do.

PS: I like fantasy stories including time travel(go back couple) and transmigration(konosuba).
