I find this because I wanna watch romance drama but time travel and saving family is what makes me try this drama, because of that even if she doesn't end up with someone it doesn't matter to me as long as her objective is done

I rarely watch c drama but I like this kind of romance than typical CEO Employees who accidentally fall and hug etc.

when I think about it again it's actually good that she dies for her family's survival like in episode 27 so he can wake up that what he does is wrong.

maybe because no one thought about the relationship but what he did was scary, he obsessed with her. although he says that he does that to protect her but for me it's just an excuse. for a clever lord who knows a lot of information I doubt that this is the only way to protect her he can think of.

from episode one the drama tells us that FL wants his family to survive and later doesn't want to be in this muddy water again but ML makes her become the center of attention and increases her enemy. he loves her and wants her on his side but what does FL get? As someone who already married before and know the bitter taste now, she just wants to live leisurely far from conflict but ML does anything to keep her after she says NO with determination multiple times.

I understand his reason and his love but it's hard to support him. sometimes I even think that her dying at the price of her family's survival is better than her being with him.

let's be real here. hypothetically if Yi Chan can choose between loss of his hearing or not what would he choose? I think he will choose not to lose hearing except if there is a trade/price he needs to pay for example his child is gone or separated from his loved one.

here the trade for Yi Chan not losing his hearing in ML POV is did not or bad perform at the festival which is a small price to pay in my opinion. until the stake is high what ML doing is fine.

yeah, I agree deafness doesn't make him less worthy as a father but did you watch episode 11? ML says that he is lonely because the other 3 members of the family like have a different world. he likes music but he can't share it with his family, his father also enjoys music but because of his loss of hearing he no longer does that even though he is also a happy person even after losing his hearing. what is so wrong with ML helping his father to not lose his hearing? like a son who buys their parent a new appliance even though what they have still works just fine, ML also wants to give their parent something more

until now he still chooses Cheong Ah as his mother and he built and has a good relationship with Cheong Ah. That indicates that ML doesn't discriminate against deaf people.

FL got overshadowed by SFL for real. this drama builds ML and FL's love story only with one episode but SFL falls in love with ML gradually. She hates him first then becomes friend with him after a long time she accepts that she indeed love him and her painful moment after getting rejected is sad.

I feel like this is intentional and that ML and SFL have good chemistry. and I don't blame other people for having SLS in this drama. SFL loves him sincerely and that's normal because ML is that good not only having wonderful capability as a surgeon but also having a good heart. the problem is ML doesn't love her as a lover but as a very close friend or maybe a sister.

ML and SFL's relationship is not extraordinary in drama and anime and it's hard to deny that they make a good pair and their chemistry is probably the best in this drama.

usually, I watch 16-20 episodes kdrama so 50 episodes 1 hour + each is long compared to what I usually watch.

oh common it's not like the lord accidentally finds that the guard killed someone. he does a background check and creates a play in which a pair of wife and husband meet the guard who kills their family and accidentally someone from Yamen comes. She acts normal actually because the guard (her close aide) can be executed.

there are multiple ways to tell FL even as a lord that the guard killed someone but nope he chose to reveal it to the public. As a master FL is not a bad person(after comeback). there is one maid who purposely lets someone trap her brother and hold the guard making FL get kidnap. after what the maid did she only released her. if Lord reports what she finds to her the outcome will be different.

the guard is someone who she regards as her close person so of course she will react like that when he gets trap slander as a murderer(the FL knows that her wife's husband revealed the guard killed their family and yamen people come afterward is fishy).

the conflict here is natural the lord doing her job and being jealous of the guard on the other hand FL protects and believes her close aids before evident and his reason comes up.

I agree that she is not an advocate of the law but she is a 100% better person compared to before. As you know what she wants is to move to the suburbs/ outside the city and live leisurely.

she doing her best to redeem her wrongdoing to the MU family but her family and her close aid doing something bad so with no other choice she cleans it up. her brother was punished by her father after she reported it, his father resigned from his job, and the guard was tortured.

she made the decision based on the choice she had without framing innocent or trapping them to do criminal acts in ancient Cdrama that's a good thing.

wow, very double standard I see. choose whether you want to use a modern setting or an ancient setting. Don't use a modern setting when her brother is the culprit and use an ancient setting when the guard related to two people die.

if we talking about a modern setting yes FL should stop her brother at any cost and also if we use a modern setting with the assumption any evidence is clear the guard is not a serial murderer at all (he still got punishment) and the master who dies because of the burning house will be hate and maybe her grave full of spit from other people because he is abusive and kill a lot of people like nothing.

if we use an ancient setting she doing a good enough job of trying to stop her brother. in ancient settings men had concubines or maids who slept together with their masters is common and women had low rights so her brother was not considered a gentleman but he was also not a criminal because he had multiple girls and made them have S*x with him after buy them is normal in that era.
on the other hand, the guard must die because he killed his master according to the law but from morality FL POV two people die related to him is because he forced to do it so she is doing her best to help him.

clearly, you just hate FL first she is not an ANGLE she is a HUMAN who loves her family and people close to her. After she comes back/time travels she does not use her scheme to frame the innocent etc but to make a deal with people related to the case in order to minimize the punishment of people around her.

In my previous comment I used modern law and self-defense just to elevate that from a moral of view, the two people dying related to the guard is kinda of understandable the first one because of abuse and potential death the second one is because of self-defence

in the early episode when her brother takes the girl, she saves her and lets her brother get punishment (because she knows that her brother is not going to die because of it).

when her brother kills a maid she doesn't support it and lets her father choose the punishment for her brother she also releases any girl in her brother's arms who wants freedom and gives money to them.

after she does an investigation she concludes that her guard doesn't deserve to die ( if she leaves him alone in Yamen's hand the probability of him dying is high).

In the first case, the master is abusive and kills the child so he runs away by burning the house but unfortunately, the master dies. the guard did something wrong here even though he just wanted to escape and I doubt Yamen will exclude him from being executed(remember this in the ancient story and being executed is not that rare)

second case the girl launched an attack first to kill him but he deflected it and unfortunately that projectile comeback to her and she died because of it. if this got caught by CCTV in modern times the court is likely to rule it out as self-defense and he will not guild of a murderer as the lawyer said "If the court finds that your actions were justified, then you will not be convicted of a crime." two people died related to him i won't say that he is a serial murderer. She tried her best to help him because if she left him alone the probability of him being executed was very high (this is the ancient story) she did not support his action but also did something to save him from being executed

she acknowledges that what her father doing is bad and tries to redeem it but because the culprit is her father she tries to minimize the punishment and make her father change his mind.

she not supporting her father as a traitor but she tries to help her father not die and that is different. if she knew her father was doing it(right now) and she had just been an onlooker without trying to stop him that support but she not do that in this lifetime because he already did that when she came back, and she even convinced her father to plead not guilty/ got leniency to MU family.
