People have been complaining that its kinda confusing; some don't like the actors, and some don't like the CGI.…
I've enjoyed the episodes I have watched so far and this drama got me interested in watching the donghua too. Even without the history of watching the donghua, the story has kept me hooked and I find all the comments here really helpful in understanding what is going on.
I am confused... how can this be rated lower than DC when this adaptation is closer to the donghua that everyone loved?
Well, I just started to watch the donghua cos this drama got me interested! Having watched 9 episodes so far, I know we are just getting to the exciting parts!!
I'm on Weibo, trust me the China fans are fr throwing shits on the FRAUD CREW, it's a lot. The fans also felt…
I had a feeling that this wasn't supposed to be the ending... I've also read somewhere that many scenes were deleted, not sure why. Besides, this is part of the love on series of iqiyi so why would they tag it as such if it ends in tragedy? ML died, FL has gone crazy with hallucinations, everyone had a happy ending EXCEPT the main leads! If that isn't a tragedy, i don't know what is!
Isn't this based on a novel? I mean c'mon, isn't the novel a happy ending? Why end the drama on that note? Even if the writers were possessed by God knows what spirits, they could just copy the ending from the novel and give the viewers a break! I am so pissed off!!!
Was the last episode not shown? My golly, i cannot accept this ending after waiting so long for this show to air as i heard it had a happy ending, but the writers might have been the ones under medications for giving us this unacceptable ending!!!
Just my two cents, 1. I admire the courage of XZZ to face his mental health issues head on when he got passed all the tell tale signs that he wasn’t on the road to recovery at all. The courage to step back and step away from everything and just focus on healing himself. How hard it must have been to isolate yourself and put everything else on hold. How he tried so hard to solve his problem without resorting to medications at first but eventually accepted the fact that he could not handle it alone. It must have been so painful to see his past relationship with QF when he was editing that proposal video and know deep inside that he now seemed to be a different person devoid of all emotions.
2. I admire QF for quietly accepting the fact that her presence and love cannot solve XZZ’s mental health issues. When you truly love someone, your first instinct is to protect that person and your relationship and say everything will be just fine. She stood by him and accepted all conditions thinking they’ll get over this phase. To let go of someone you love so dearly must have been so heartbreaking and doubly so when you cannot express your hurt by crying loudly or shouting cos you still consider the emotional state of your partner.
That scene when they were sleeping in the same bed knowing something is wrong but choosing to be quiet and accepting rather than facing the fact that XZZ has changed was truly sad.
Waiting for the last 2 episodes tonight with a heavy heart.😭
I hope we don’t get a rush ending but with just 2 episodes to go, am not keeping my hopes up. These episodes tonight were just too sad 😢 Emotions were high but sadness was just underlying everything. It felt more sad because of how they portrayed the scenes - not the usual shouting in angry tones or blaming each other.
Haters gonna hate, so let us not mind the ratings here.
Literally has me hooked episode by episode - wow! and this isn't even my go-to genre at all!
MDL countdown says next episode is for 3 Dec so that means we are not getting an episode today?

I'll watch the anime version too as this drama piqued my interest.
By the way, is the anime version also available on WeTV?
Is the anime version Soul Land season 1?

Will just rewatch dramas with happy endings now just to help me forget about this one huhu

Crap, just crap! 😤😡🤬
I feel so betrayed by watching this episode by episode since it started!! 😭
My golly and you categorize this drama under love on series??
I might forgive the writers if they release a bonus episode explaining all these nonsense!!!
Is it too much to ask for a happy ending after enduring 36 freaking episodes?!!!!
