This drama is a good break from any typical idol drama!! Kudos for Steven Zhang challenging himself to participate in a non-idol drama.
After watching ep.1 to 18 in a weekend, I truly like the storyline and pacing.
Totally understand why Liang Jie is not FL and not pairing with Steven Zhang as the Li Zhi's role is not suitable for her. I did enjoy watching her pairing with Steven Zhang in "The Day of Becoming You", the soul switching romcom.
Elvira Chai Wen Jing is definitely better suited to play Li Zhi. She excelled well in playing a complex and vengeful character with a sweet face in "The Confidence".

Absolutely unrealistic and illogical for a driver, irrespective of rich or poor, would stopped n got out of the car alone defenceless to confront a bunch of thugs n robbers in the of the night.
Unrealistic storyline or events I find unbearable:- 1. How come ZCS car booth kept spare dry clothes for Shiyi and himself to change after going thru a heavy rain but has no umbrella in the car that ZCS to use while standing outside the car drenched and waiting for Shiyi to change? 2. Uncle Lin's nephew was driving a drunk Mei Xing home but otw they were attacked by thugs n robbers. Rich people and their driver(s) usually have tools or weapons placed in car for self defence. The wealth size and influnece of Zhou family should have better security and defence tools, like armed weapons or something. Either the director has no logic or senseless in real life danger situations. 3. If Mei Xing is SML, why is his screen time being lesser that ZCS younger brother, ZWC so far up to ep. 20.

After ep.13, the story took a different turn and yes some draggy parts in between that i watched them while cooking/doing laundry so better utilize my time but also following the story.
It does have a HAPPY ENDING and in the last episode their reunion was funny and sweet like a romcom. The sweet flashbacks were also good.
