I think this drama is watchable till the end, although some parts of the acting and script are quite flawed. Overall it is still acceptable.

Not sure why but I feel more emotionally invested in 2nd couple Emperor and Tilan and their ending 😭😭😭😭 compared to FJM and HS.

Imho this drama is more interesting compared to The King's Affection however the total number of MDL watchers/members for King's Affection is almost double at 16,373 compared to Red Sleeves at 8,541.😕😕😕

The relationship between Emperor, Shifu/Lord Qinghai and Haishi is not as simple as just love and romance and who takes care of who better. It also involves the future of the Dangzhe kingdom.

Well .....protecting Haishi is also about protecting the Emperor vis a vie the kingdom for the safety of the people.

The scriptwriter and director made it less darker by creating a valid justification ie Shifu got poisoned and suddenly abandoned his plan to marry Haishi instead push Haishi to emperor to protect her.

I suspect the original plot was that Haishi is brought up, trained all along by shifu to protect Di Xu/emperor and the kingdom.

Just started watching ep.1 N,WABU today after catching up with the latest eps in The Red Sleeve. Can't really compare which is better or shd have higher viewership as one is a historical drama and this is a modern drama. But I ❤❤ both!!

I guess may take a few more as it will have go stretch up to 50 eps and each ep. has more than 1 hour.

I dont mind as sometimes it can funny and entertaining although sometimes illogical.

Even some scenes appear to be water filling and meaningless but as long as the good looking ML, SML 2x playing Junior Marshalls are on screen, I dont mind 😂😂😂

What I like most about the flow of the drama is that after some major events, e.g. uncovering of fake Princess Yanling assassination attempt, they will recap and explain what took place behind the scene.

IMHO this is better than Worm Valley as I have finished the entire drama in 1 day.
