Those mini terra cotta figurines sold outside the museum are made of clay, though are cheap, but looks and feel ancient. You will be impressed if you see them when visiting Xian.

Oh..ya there's plenty of those souvenirs outside the museum. I bought finger length size terracotta that my mum thinks its scary to look at.

Funny! Lol

As much as I like Wang Yibo, it was the right choice to put Zanilia Zhao's name first in the opening then followed by Wang Yibo given Zhao's seniority in the industry.

Unlike the poster disaster in the yet-to -be released Golden Hairpin, both Kris Wu and Yang Zi names put on the same page can cause controversy and fans rivalry.

In ep.6 now and I am obsessed with Zhao LiYing's Nuxia/ Wuxia Heroine boots! I love to watch her fighting scenes wearing those boots!

Hahaha...I said touch things not artifacts ya! ! This is because there are barriers and cameras everywhere. Those that are reachable even with barriers I suspect are remakes and not original artifacts.

My advice to you is that buy the ticket to ride the "electric car" or caddie once you reach the compound. There is a 5-8 minutes walk from the entrance to actual excavation site and museum. Enjoy!!

You must go Xian!! First thing to do after the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown is over. Looking at those real artifacts and ahem...touching things definitely can widen your imagination about how people that era live their lives.

Compare to recent days drama yes way high budget Seen some Kurosawa movies when i first saw donger serving Ying…
Yes, its the collar and the robe's length of upper body before the waistline which looks similar to what you mention on Kendo robes.

@disliketolike Oh so you went to the Terra Cotta Museum and excavation site in Xian before? Fascinating place right!! Of course minus the massive tourist crowds...haha.

I learned alot about the history and Qin dynasty (basically 1 emperor before the fall of the empire). Yah, I read about the extra metal coating of their arrows and weapons there, which was considered very advance at that time and age.
On Qin Dynasty Epic Dec 16, 2020
There is no way I can fully understand without English subs. Good to watch to learn more about Qin dynasty history. The production and costume seem high budget and quality.

This particular period costume and hairdo have some similarities to ancient Japanese costumes. Also read somewhere Chinese conspiracy theorists argued that part of the delegation assigned by Emperor Qin's conquest for eternal life who have deviated and retreated in a faraway land bringing the culture and influence to what is known as Nihun Go aka Japan.

This won't be lighter than YCM hahahahaha. I recall some details about the trailer and I think they'll be a miscarriage…
Hahaha...even the billionaire genius Elon Musk sold his Paypal shares and became multi millionaire at the age of 31 years old.

Yeah just wait for more episodes to be released.

The more I watch, the more I see similar facial features between FL-Chen Du Ling and Liu YiFei, when she still has baby fat in The Return of Condor Heroes as Siu Long Nu.

Yes @bibi-bibi, unfortunately the producers in most Cdramas still apply the over repeated winning or safe formula - Mary Sue aka damsel in distress or poor girl- rich man to atttact viewerships.

If you watch the season finale of Season 2 -Actors Please Take Your Place ( more details can be found in MDL ), the producers openly invite 7 to 9 of the 40 contestants to do idol dramas, which 90% carry the safe winning formula.

Up to raw ep.2. This Cdrama is a lighter compared to "You Complete Me", which also has Investment Banking underlying theme.

I must say that Hawick Lau ( also Huang Xiao Ming) can still play ML in dramas like this type. The big age gap btw ML and FL is still logical as being a department head in IB usually are in their forties minimum, whereas a management trainee/junior analyst is usually in early 20s.

While waiting for You Complete Me new episodes to come out, am watching this to fill the free time for my year end break.

Hahaha.... or atleast press ctrl + alt+delete to lock the computer screen right! Even an office clerk in any bank is required by policy to do this whenever he/she leaves the work station.

Yes, the weaknesses you pointed out are so obvious.

The storyline is actually quite interesting with the IB background and revenge plot, however they need to do more research on the specific sector to make it more believable.

I can't help but to point out 2 main flaws in the script.

First is that in any investment bank premises, the security checkpoints are very strict and has Great Wall policy, the FL- Lin Wo has entered and exited Motian/Most Sky numerous times without registering or even tagging visitor pass. Outsiders can only sit in conference room and not roam around working area.

Secondly, in ep.10 -11 ML - Gao Shan completed a M&A proposal within 1 night could just walk out of the office without carrying the laptop after hearing fire alarm?? To me it's natural instinct to grab important things like handbag, phone n laptop with you before leaving considering a lot of hard work done in the proposal!!
