I like Tiange with Zexuan too! Zexuan is sweet, but of course we knew they wouldn't last long. Loving season 2 cast except Zhengru, the 4th girl. My fave male is Zhengxuan, such a boyfriend material. And QiWen cp is definitely the best couple of all series and versions! I'm still angry how TianYi cp became. I blame Yichen and his manager. Yes like you said, the male cast in season 4 were average, even their personalities aren't appealing, but the ladies are awesome.

It's about daily life and growth of teenagers to working adults. As well as the relationships between families. It's really heartwarming and you can relate to the story. But bcs it shows the realistic side of life, of course there will be sad moments.

My heart breaks for Shao Xue. I cried the whole night 😭 Where can you find someone who is willing to give up her dream for you, not once, but twice? Just like Ms. Jin said Shao Xue is the only one who can make Sunian happy. Also like Zhang Qi said thanks to her Sunian could be the way he is now. Sunian did that for her, but he should've said "It's okay. We'll try LDR" instead 🤦‍♀️ poor Shao Xue being thrown to hell... Zhang Qi is the man to the rescue. Even though he is friends with both, but Shao Xue comes first.

Meanwhile so glad Wu Huan finally speak up. Tang Ya is an angel. I hope they'll become a couple though.

I like their chemistry too. Some actors try to look cool and mysterious and ignore their female co-stars. Li Yifeng is famous, but he's not cold. I like how he keeps teasing Yuqi sometimes with such serious face 😂

Season 3 was so awful bcs of the scandal by male 4. It even affected female 4. Poor her.
For season 4 I think the quality went down a lot. The girls are lovely, but the men look so meek, feminine and boring. I can't feel their charms. Btw who is happy planet cp and formula cp? I don't catch with the cp names.

Me too have more things that I like from this drama than the things I hate. I couldn't wait for the next episode, cried with them, and watched to the end.
Even when a drama is bad I try to find what I like about it unless there are more negatives than positives. There are things that I hate more than messy editing: one of the main characters is a villain that is also a love rival 🤦‍♀️ I'm happy this drama doesn't have this type or I will curse every time he/she appears 😂 oh the other OST are beautiful too but they barely played in the drama. Such a shame 😥

Ah okay 😅 I thought so. If you have watched to ep 28 you'll know what I'm talking about. In ep 27 was actually the first time she acted childish and I hated that, but since the outcome is super romantic I forgave her 😂

I think it's bcs he found out Shao Xue has given up her dream once for him and now she wants to give up again. He doesn't want to confine her so he acts like that to make her leave the country. However he often checks her SNS to see how she's doing.

Su Mo in the last episode is indeed shocking and out of character. He always wanted to live with Bai Ying after it all ends, and in the end he wished to become rain and disappear? 😭

I'm grateful too to the three leads. This novel based drama isn't easy to begin with. They took the challenge. They showed the changes of their characters and the differences between each character they acted. Also this is the hardest character Yuqi had to portray and I salute her for that.

You are a rare gem too, liking this drama and see the positive light amidst the negative reviews. I will rewatch this drama too bcs no matter how crappy the editing and the script is, I love the characters, the chemistry and the ost.

She doesn't want to disappoint her parents and Sunian. Shao Xue decided to stay by his side and make him happy, just like what she promised to Ms. Jin. She gave up her dream to study abroad for him and now she will give it up again for him. If that's not selfless, I don't know what is.

Even so I'd like to think that the gods gave him power to be resurrected and permanently stays by her side. Previously he didn't appear. Why? Might be bcs he didn't have enough power. Then for three years, the citizens worship him and pray for him. They come every year to the seaside. Those prayers might gave Su Mo power to appear in human form. Especially since the song playing is the happy one. I think it's kinda weird if it's really sad ending.

Bro that's so devastating! 😱 I wonder if he knew the ending before accepting the dramas? Or he chose bcs he is interested in the script?
Oh btw in Legend of Chusen, the woman he truly loves isn't Bi Yao, it's Xueqi, but since there's no season 3, we can't see it happens 😥

Miss the Dragon has no story in it. Basically it's just a couple from different worlds experiencing several reincarnations. It's like endless cycle of meeting and falling in love.

Yan Xi is the current sea emperor and gets married to Na Sheng.

Are you currently on first ep? If yes, then you will see how wonderful Shao Xue is as a person as you go through. She's a tomboy, immature, smart, bright, friendly, loyal and selfless. She cares for everyone and respects the elders. That's why the elders adore her. She is willing to give up her dream for the man she loves. She listens and supports the people around her, not just her friends. She is loved by everyone. She's the typical of high school girl growing up into an adult without losing her positive energy.

This drama is better than Reply 1988 bcs there's no violence. It shows the character's growth as well as the realistic things that happen along the journey, such as exams, graduation, separation, sickness, internship, dreams, even cultural heritage.

I hate Mo Hai. He only brings trouble to Shao Xue and Sunian, and he keeps on clinging to Shao Xue. Who are you anyway?

When I thought Shiyin is changing slowly for Wu Huan, she doesn't. She doesn't need a boyfriend, she needs a butler. And she complained of how the reality after they started dating is harsh? The beautiful picture is ruined? even Shao Xue said Shiyin is at fault for not treating Wu Huan right.

So they're dating for 2 years and now she's in the final year. That means it's currently 2009 🤔

This Lang Gan is a maniac. After losing his wife, Bai Wei, he learned Mirror Technique and Split Technique which are dangerous and have backlashes. That caused him to have another personality that is controlling his body. He knows about heaven and earth and ancient spells bcs he lives for 7000+ years. For him everything is just a game. He is a manipulator.

This is a xuanhuan drama. Xuanhuan and xianxia dramas have gods, immortals, mystical creatures, legends, fantasy, spiritual powers. Dragon, phoenix, mermaid, kirin usually appear in xuanhuan drama. In this drama, we have normal humans (the citizens), humans who practice spiritual magic which can make them aging slowly (almost like immortal or super humans, but they do die), merman, and gods. Bai Ying, Zhen Lan, Xi Jing, Yu Huan are the spiritual power practitioners so they live longer than humans but they're not immortals. Na Sheng is human. The merman can live thousand years, but they won't get reincarnated. The goddess in the last ep is a heavenly goddess. The merman worship the dragon god in change for his protection and power. Lang Gan isn't a god. He thinks he is a god. With the power of Mirror Technique, he could give power to someone else. But like I said, those spiritual practitioners aren't immortal. They just aged slowly.

Seriously??? That's shocking. Does he like those kind of endings? Meanwhile this is the first time Yuqi's drama gets sad ending, although her character in AoL got sad ending too, but she wasn't the main character there.

Exactly! If they changed a lot from the novel, why not change the ending as well? Giving such an ambiguous ending doesn't help. Some script writers had their brains swapped with their butts. They changed everything, but suddenly made the ending the same with the novel. It would've been better if both of them die and people worship them. Even Bai Ying said how wonderful it is to be buried side by side by the one you love.

The people who didn't do much get the best rewards. It's like giving false messages: the more you sacrifice the more you will lose. The pain of watching historical cdramas is you tend to get sad ending 😭
