But it's the last week for MTC yet there's no sign of it 😭 I'm jealous bcs even dramas or movies that haven't aired or still ongoing have their leads do couple pictorial shoot, but Yuqi never had one 😭

Some people said how bad Yuqi is. I love how Chen Yuqi isn't a one dimensional actress who only takes the same type of character all the time. Bai Ying is quite similar to her role as A Yuan (TLLTM) but harder. Bai Ying has her life, voice, future and freedom being taken away from her. She almost married to someone she doesn't love. She had to live a life as an obedient princess. Now as one of the six lords, she lost yet another future, carrying the fate of a whole nation. She is destined to lose her life, will not be able to reincarnate, will not have a future with the man she loves. How one can be happy and carefree? This drama is about people whose life and freedom being taken from them. The merman also suffered like Bai Ying. They can't smile, they are prisoners. Imagine if Su Mo, Ning Liang, Yan Xi, Xiao, etc act like Na Sheng who has no worries. Su Mo and Bai Ying are hard characters to portray bcs of their backgrounds. Unlike Zhen Lan who was already a carefree person, but became more serious.

Bcs the cdrama tends to have long episodes and it will be boring and draggy. So they decided to change the number of episodes to 40 eps, if possible.

Well, I guess when your life, future, and freedom are taken away from you, with the fate of whole nation in your shoulders, you have to stay happy and carefree all the time. Just like Na Sheng. That means the merman should be happy too, not stressed and gloomy.

I think it's around ep 26-27 bcs it's before they start dating.

I think it's more like Bai Ying is staring at the sea, and then the image of Su Mo appears in front of her. Like giving one last goodbye or words to comfort her not to cry anymore. For God's sake if this really the ending, I might flip my table.

So happy they have a couple shoot 😍 Yuqi never had any couple shoot so this is the first time. I'm still hoping for Twin Cities couple shoot but seems like there's none 😑

These are the possible endings:
1. Su Mo dies. Zhen Lan rules Kong Sang. Bai Ying travels around Yun Huang, maybe alone or with Xi Jing.
2. Both of them die.
3. They are alive. Su Mo and Bai Ying travel around Yun Huang before settling down at Biluo Sea.
4. Bai Ying dies. Su Mo is in journey to find her reincarnation and reunite with her. Just like Miss the Dragon.

From all 4, no 1 is most likely to happen (please NO!!!). But I've been thinking. Those heavenly ring and earthy ring are useless! At least heavenly ring is a bit useful. If those two rings are really powerful, use them to change the fate of Six Lords! Or something! Don't make Su Mo handle everything! Or once the seals broken, Zhen Lan can use his heavenly power to do something. He is one of the main characters, but his role until now is to guide Na Sheng and read books 🙄 he hasn't done anything bcs he has no power. I hate it when the person who sacrificed the most gets a death for his reward 🤦‍♀️ After watching the devastating ending on NPE, I can't handle another one in a row 😭

The new 4 episodes are so funny! Pei Shu is such a character! He is noisy and bluffing, but we all need that kind of friend to make you relax. It's funny how he lost to Shao Xue every time 😂 and now even Yunsheng is helping Sunian to pursue Shao Xue 👍🏻

Jealous Sunian is cute, he's like a jealous puppy. That senior is a threat indded.

It's so good! It's lively, colorful, funny, simple and realistic daily life. All characters including the parents, elders and teacher are lovely. The flow is smooth and you can see the growth of the characters.

Everyone wants happy ending 😭 in the novel, Su Mo died. Zhen Lan and Bai Ying live, but they don't get married. Na Sheng has happy ending though.

There is possibility Su Mo and Bai Ying will travel around Yun Huang just like her dream. That's my hope though...

I never ship them from the start. Xiao's mark disappeared before she met him so she has fallen for someone else. So she will never fallen in love to other man. I really don't know why she's staying by his side. Bcs she owes him? Bah!

Btw what happened to Aunt Ru? She was sent to seek cooperation from Gao Shunzhao. But she hasn't appeared again since. She was mentioned once, but no update after that. Did I miss something?

I remember the broadcast committee changed the rule for dramas. They're not allowed to have 60 eps. 30-40 eps are better, 50 eps at max. That's why these few years dramas no longer have that many episodes.

I agree. Lang Gan loves her deeply, but his love was clouded by jealousy, insecurity and ambition. He wanted to rule the whole Yun Huang. So for him, Chun Huang was the biggest threat, in power and love. For him, everything just wasn't enough. That's why he doubted Bai Wei and Chun Huang. And the reason he practiced Mirror Technique was also to rule Yun Huang and perhaps to eliminate all merman tribe.

Yan Xi is being controlled by mind control 😭 he will try to kidnap/kill Na Sheng for the ring.

Nah, I don't believe in douban. This drama has been in top 3. Also Su Mo is in top 3 favorite character, while Bai Ying ranked 10.

It was stupid, but it's bcs she promised Ms. Jin and she knows Sunian needs her. She can't leave Sunian alone, at least for now. She's willing to give up her dream for a while. For her, study abroad can be done later, but helping Sunian must be done now or it will be too late. 😭
